24.01.2022 The Playful Possums at Kindalin Cherrybrook Shops have expressed excitement and asked lots of questions when they see birds flying by or find insects/bugs in our garden. To help the children explore these interests, we involved them in creating bird feeders which we put on our trees. Using natural materials collected from our garden, the children made a sun catcher and created a collage. They also made their own worm-shaped 'grass head' using soil, seeds and stockings. The Playful Possums have been watering our worms each day and checking to see if their hair has grown.

22.01.2022 At Kindalin Cherrybrook Shops our home corner has been converted into a primary school. The Wonderful Wombats have pretended to be teachers and students. The children have dressed in school uniforms and sat at their desks, using paper and notepads as their school workbooks. This roleplay has allowed the children to express their thoughts and ideas of what happens at primary school. The roleplay has encouraged their social skills as they take on the different roles during this play and be ready for when they graduate here at Kindalin.
19.01.2022 This week, Soccer Pat visited Kindalin Cherrybrook Shops. He started with some warm-up exercises such as running after the ball and kicking a ball into the soccer net. After these warm-up exercises, he divided the children up into two groups. The children were so excited to put all their energy into running after the ball and kicking it into the soccer net. Throughout this experience, the children in each group were able to work as a team and motivate one another to play.
18.01.2022 Merry Christmas from all of us at Kindalin Cherrybrook Shops!

12.01.2022 The Possums were very active this week exercising their bodies and muscle as they practised their yoga moves. They did this while following the instructions on the cards in front of them. Some of their moves were reaching high in the air like rocket ships and hot air balloons, bending over like a water fountain, squatting like a drooping flower, posing like a scooter and standing on one leg like a slippery dip. The Possums shared their cards of what poses they did and demonstrated to the educators how balanced they were.
08.01.2022 Thank you to all of the families who attended our Open Day this year. It was a great opportunity to have new families explore and experience the various Kindali...n Centres and meet our Educators. We look forward to welcoming many new families in 2019. #Kindalin #GrowAndLearn #OpenDay #ChildCare
07.01.2022 The children at Kindalin Cherrybrook Shops have been busy celebrating Christmas with lots of different Christmas craft. They have created their own Christmas trees, choosing the colours of paint to add to their tree and then gluing down various collage materials. We even added some special pictures and put them in our Christmas tree frames. The children have also been very excited at group time, checking the calendar and counting down the days till Christmas. The children were even lucky enough to receive a personal letter from Santa. Santa said he was impressed with how much the children have learnt this year and he can’t wait to visit everyone soon.
