23.01.2022 Each year the educators at Kindalin eagerly await the arrival of their Christmas party invitations. What makes it a lot of fun is we have a special performance from the educators. The children get to help launch the theme as well. This year our theme is ‘it’s a small world’. We saw a lot of different countries represented, all dressed up in their traditional costumes and with amazing choreographed dances from the educators.

20.01.2022 Over the past few weeks, the children in the Eager Emus room have been showing their interest in Pirates. They have been participating in dramatic play activities using their own telescopes and treasure maps which they made. The children also enjoyed painting their faces as pirates. A variety of stories and songs have been used to develop their knowledge and understanding of pirates, the things they do and the different things they have. We have been talking about pirate ships, buried treasure, parrots, islands and the special ‘Jolly Roger’ flag. Our favourite activity is singing our ‘Portside Pirates’ song and pointing out all of the different features of the pirate ship.

12.01.2022 On the 27th of October, we invited families and the community into our centres for Open Day at Kindalin West Pennant Hills. The educators loved getting to know the children that will be joining us next year plus getting to meet all the new families and children. Thank you to all who came and made it a special morning and something to look forward to 2019.

09.01.2022 This week at Kindalin West Pennant Hills we have been exploring many different cultures and celebrating Diwali. We have been dressing up and showing off all the different traditional costumes we have in our families. Miss Minu and Miss Robina brought in many different traditional items to show all the children. The centre participated in a variety of visual art activities and dances which was enjoyed by everyone.

02.01.2022 The Wombats 2018 graduation was held on the 29th of November for Kindalin West Pennant Hills. We are so proud of the graduating Wombats! They performed with their loudest and best singing voices plus they had some fantastic choreographed moves.
