25.01.2022 Term 4 starts this morning at 10.30 at Boonah Baptist Church first lesson FREE for new families. Lots of musical fun for babies to 5 year olds . Looking forward to seeing you there.

24.01.2022 New Venue for Term 2, 2016 Boonah will be at our purpose built music room at 18 Brook Street Boonah Classes at Mount Ommaney will continue in our Spinnaker Street studio.

24.01.2022 Kinder Beat will be doing two very special Christmas Celebration lessons on Tuesday November 24th and December 1st at 10.30am at the Boonah Baptist Church Hall. These classes are for babies to 5 year olds and will be fun singing of Christmas Carols, story books and musical instruments. Bookings are essential. The cost is $30 for the two class package. Hope you can come and have a musical Christmas Celebration with us and your little one.

20.01.2022 Kinder Beat classes for 2016 in Boonah will be Monday mornings are 9.15am. Bookings are being taken now to start term 1 on the 1st of February. I am offering a 4 week trial for $60 ( usually $70) as a special offer during January. Please phone Caryn om 0422 909 266 to book in.

04.01.2022 Kinder Beat is back into it for term 4. Classes are on Tuesday at 10.30am at the Boonah Baptist Church Hall. Do come to a FREE class to try out our fantastic music and movement lessons. Kinder Beat is taught throughout Australia and Asia and it is very exciting to bring these fun classes to the children of Boonah. 04.01.2022 Some information on the Kinder Beat Program: This early childhood program is contemporary and vibrant. It lays the foundation for a positive relationship with music that students will enjoy throughout their lives. The Kinder Beat program utilises ground breaking early childhood education principles and introduces young children to music in a way that stimulates all their senses. It features many activities that children of the 21st century need for brain development and accel...eration. Suitable for students aged from babies to 4 years, the level of creativity and essential musical foundations can be seen on every page and heard on every sound track. Kinder Beat currently comprises three levels. Focus activities provide the essential foundation skills that are necessary in order to develop the complete musician. These include: Singing Movement, dance and gesture Rhythm, beat and metre Percussion playing Story-telling and mime Reading (iconic and traditional notation) Keyboard games (3 4 yr olds) Musical games and improvisation Ensemble playing During Kinder Beat lessons, teachers use a variety of musical instruments and props to stimulate the senses and enrich the learning experience. These include: The Music Box, Rainbow Rings, Streamers, Parachutes, Hoops, Balls, Rhythm Sticks, Bells, Tambourines, Drums, Castanets, Triangles, Egg Shakers, Glockenspiel, Chime or Tone Bars, Tuned Hand Bells , Tuned Plastic Pipes , Electronic Keyboard, Digital Piano, Acoustic Piano.
