Let's hope this quick response means we can reopen for the last two weeks of the term. The wine fundraiser is still going ahead as planned. Orders are due back by Friday. 18.01.2022 Are you ready to jump back into Kindergym? We hope so as Term 4 starts Monday 12th October. Please note that we are still adhering to our COVID-Safe plan e.g. cleaning protocols, providing hand washing facilities/hand sanitiser, recording names and contact details of everyone who enters the building, checking that everyone is healthy and that we practise social distancing. The front door will be locked at all times so please don't arrive for your session too early as you wo...n't be able to come in until the previous session have left and staff have done a frequently touched surface clean. We still have restricted numbers so unless pre-arranged with staff no extra adults or children can attend with you. 16.01.2022 Today we had trouble with the bubbles. Who knew that doing a little clip at home would take so many takes - children crying down the street, washing machine noise and the bubbles not performing. In the end I've gone with the best of what we had even though I kept getting my words muddled as I kept a close eye on the two wasps flying around me. The point of the story is that bubbles help with hand-eye + foot-eye coordination, gross and fine motor skills, balance, visual tracking skills, speech development, spatial awareness, sensory awareness and are just awesome fun. Add them to your shopping list.

15.01.2022 UPDATE - Wow!! You’re all so keen but please note bookings open Monday 25th May not today Kindergym will be running a small four week program from Tuesday 9th June (sorry first Monday is a public holiday). Cost is $30 per child/$45 per family. Bookings are open for current members (Term 1 participants) from Monday 25th May. Bookings are via Facebook or ring/text Judith on 0422 590 527. Bookings will be on a first come first served basis. As per Step 2 of the ...South Australian Roadmap for easing COVID-19 restrictions we will be able to hold Kindergym sessions. We are allowed 20 people (9/10 children + one adult per family) per session. This is a big reduction in number considering our sessions usually have 25-28 children in them. We can add in some extra afternoon sessions if needed. We will be adhering to all COVID-19 protocols eg cleaning regimes, providing hand washing facilities/hand sanitiser, recording names and contact details of all people who enter the building, checking if you or child have a temperature or feel unwell etc. Please consider downloading the COVIDSafe App. before attending Kindergym. Please note the change in session times to allow for a 15 minute changeover so one session can leave the building before the next session comes in. The Front Door will be locked so we don't exceed 20 people with people coming in early for their session. Sorry you won't be able to use the front area where you come in to sit and eat your snacks before or after Kindergym. Group times will be held in one of the bigger Halls to allow for social distancing/density. Send us a message if you have any questions.

12.01.2022 What a sleigh ride it’s been this year and the great news is that we made it through. Thanks to our families who came back as soon as we opened and have continued to support us with all the changes we have to keep making. Thanks to our Committee and especially our Executive Committee for all you’ve done this year. You’re all superstars. Joy and Jayne have been wonderfully awesome too.... Special thanks to our Auditor, Bray Chan, especially Christine and Mae who have helped us navigate JobKeeper and Government incentives this year. We appreciate your help. Kindergym has been truly grateful for all the financial help from both the Federal and State Governments. Thank you. We would like to wish everyone a very happy, healthy and enjoyable festive season. 06.01.2022 Kindergym welcomed children from Amazing Kids Children Centre for their first session today. After a busy hour of singing, dancing, playing and exploring every room at Kindergym they fortunately only had a short walk across the road to get back to the Centre. We look forward to seeing them again next week.

When my boys were little I let them draw with chalk on the house and like a good mum I admired their artwork....wasn't such a good idea when they swapped the chalk for texta...live and learn. Safety reminder if the children are playing in the driveway - maybe pop a rubbish bin at the end so it stops anyone driving in while they are.

Following the guidelines issued by the Health Department we ask that everyone washes their hands with soap and water when they arrive at Kindergym and during the session as needed. Hand sanitiser will be available on the front counter and in the group time room. Additional cleaning protocols have also been established....
