23.01.2022 Children explored their fine motor skills, texture recognition, hand and eye coordination as they decorated their arts and crafts. This also enhanced their texture recognition as they decorated. They used their colour recognition awareness to choose their paint. Outcome 4: Children are confident and involved learners. Outcome 4.2: Children develop a range of skills and processes such as problem solving, inquiry, experimentation, hypothesising, researching.
23.01.2022 We have been talking about Friendship with in your FDC so we got to work and made a cardboard cut-out so the children could take a friend home. Friendship helps children feel like part of a Community, team and can help in all areas of learning, communication, social and emotional skill as well it helps to improve self-esteem and confidence in children.

11.01.2022 Science week activity was making ballon rockets we inflated the balloons and each child held their opening closed, then attach it to the tape on a straw that had been threaded onto their string. Children pulled their balloon to the lower end of the string and let go! With the air rushing out of the balloon creates a pushing force in the opposite direction that makes the ballon move up the string before heading back down to them for another go. With laughter and cheers the children all engaged with this activity and had lots of fun to remember.

10.01.2022 After having our morning story book about a teddy bear called Smiffy Miss A explored her fine motor skills, texture regcognition, hand and eye coordination as she made her own teddy bear puppet. By placing the two body pieces on top of each other and using the plastic needle and threading skills that she has already learnt from our threading activities she thread/sew them together. With felt and coloured form she decorated her puppet to her liking and is now very proud to tak...e her puppet home.
