08.01.2022 The KIND Committee has decided its time to conduct our first fundraising venture for 2020. Sadly this pandemic has caused many charities to have to stop any fundraising activities and we are no exception. Of course our commitment to our families continues and we have seen a number of new families join us in 2020. We have decided to run another Cash 4 KIND (COVID-19 style) in social isolation. This year we are selling 100 tickets at $100 each with the prize for 1 winner be...ing $5,000 and KIND receiving $5,000. If you would like a ticket the details are on the flyer attached - call Dani or Ann-Marie or email [email protected] and let us know what number you prefer. Get in quick to secure your favourite number from 1 to The money needs to be deposited into KIND's Bendigo Bank Account - BSB 633000, A/c 136688777 with your surname and confirmed number. Please make sure you contact us first to check available numbers. As soon as all 100 numbers are sold (we will keep you posted regularly on our Facebook page) we will conduct a live draw with an independent person to pull out the lucky number. You can get a group together and share the cost and the prize. Got to be in it to win it. Stay safe and well. Don't forget if you know of any child needing our support please get in contact. 06.01.2022 The KIND committee has been a successful recipient of a grant from Connected Communities FNQ and we will soon have some brochures distributed throughout the area to raise awareness about our Charity. 04.01.2022 This week is Volunteer Week and while we can't be seen out and about during this time of pandemic we still can show our appreciation for the many friends and family who always support our little KIND Committee. Every person on our Committee volunteer their time to make sure KIND can continue its support of our local children facing serious illness or injury but we are also supported by a huge following of people who always willingly volunteer their time when we hold our eve...nts or support us by coming to a our fundraisers or buying a raffle ticket. Without this support we would not be able to continue and we are very thankful. (Check out who these businesses are in the pictures with this post) If you are one of the lucky ones who managed to grab a ticket to lunch there are some wonderful prizes for Best Dressed Male, Female, Couple and Best Fascinator Make sure you put on ...your finery and be in contention. We also have some great Lucky Door Prizes. We will be selling raffle tickets at $5 ea with a host of awesome prizes. If you are unable to join us at the luncheon we are very happy to sell you tickets now just email [email protected] to let us know how many tickets and your contact details and deposit the money with your name into our bank account - BSB 633000 A/c No. 1336688777 (KIND Inc). There will be plenty of sweeps - tickets will cost $20, $10 and $5 with great prize money for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.
