19.01.2022 Meet our chiropractors! Dr Chris grew up on a farm in a little place in WAs Southwest called Quindanning. After leaving school he dated a naturopath and this was where his passion for natural health began. He travelled to Davenport Iowa to study chiropractic at the Palmer College Of Chiropractic and graduated in 2001. Chris started and built a successful practice in Applecross and stayed there for 10 years. He later moved to the hills to raise his family, and Kindred Chiropr...actic was born. Chris loves working with families and he completed his Post Graduate studies in Chiropractic Paediatrics in 2008. 15.01.2022 Meet our chiropractors! When she was a teenager, Dr Kim was going to become a professional ballet dancer, however due to injury she had to give up on her dream. Years later she found chiropractic. Her mother is a GP and skin cancer surgeon with chronic low back pain and was getting relief from chiropractic adjustments. 'Plagiocephaly has been called The most common craniofacial problem today, by the Royal Childrens Hospital. The disorder is that of a misshapen or asymmetrical head shape often seen in newborns and infants as the thin, flexible bones of their heads are affected by lying on one side more than the other. A newly released cohort study on chiropractic care for the condition has something to say on the issue. Usually diagnosed in the first 4 months of life and ordinarily resolving by 2 years old, Plagiocephaly was originally thought not to affect development. More recent research is revealing a growing association between Plagiocephaly and developmental delay later in infancy extending into childhood.'
