07.01.2022 A brilliant turn out at our community event on Wednesday Here at Kindred, the community’s best interest is our #1 priority, so we were pleased to organise a community event on Wednesday with the region's local elected Sunshine Coast MP, Andrew Wallace. This event was so members of the community could have direct access to Andrew to ask him questions they may have and hear him speak on topics of interest. Some of the takeaways discussed on the day included: ... Funding around healthcare and aged care Infrastructure upgrades needed, including congestion on the Bruce Highway The impact of COVID-19 on local businesses and the community Housing and property shortages in the area Support for community groups. It was so interesting to listen to everyone have their say from hotel/resort developers, Sunshine Coast Council to the small business owners and families that make up the community, and we thank everyone for their attendance.
