25.01.2022 Dear Valued clients, With a heavy heart our team have decided to temporarily close our doors as of Monday 30th March @ 7pm. It was a difficult decision, but one that had to be made during these difficult and unprecedented times.... Our biggest concern was, we can no longer insure the safety of our clients and practitioners. We are unsure of when we will re-open, but we promise to contact everyone. If you are experiencing any of the following symptoms: - Coughing - Sneezing... - Runny nose - Difficulty breathing - Fever Please reschedule your appointment and contact your local gp or nurse on call (1300 60 60 24). To keep our staff and clients safe, unfortunately we will have to turn away clients experiencing those symptoms and rescheduling appointments to a later date. The same goes to our staff members. As you can imagine, the team at KOH have been quite stressed, we did not know where we stood during stage 4 restrictions. There were many grey areas and did not want to make announcements until we had confirmation by DHHS and Osteopathy Australia. Please read below: STAGE 4 RESTRICTIONS AND ALLIED HEALTH... All Allied health practitioners have been mandated by the department of health to provide services to those cases that are URGENT OR SEVERE. Especially for those patients that are at risk of deteriorating. Unfortunately routine/management treatments are not permitted. This is about reducing movement and saving lives. Our team have decided that ALL face-to-face patients will be screened prior to their appointment. New patients MUST be within the 5km radius. We understand that this is a painful process and it may be inconvenient. It is our responsibility to keep our community safe during these unprecedented times and adhere to current regulations. Please know we are still here to help you reach your goals. It may not be physically via hands on treatment or 1 on 1 rehabilitation/training. 10.01.2022 For the guys who train with me, I hate these exercises with a passion. Burpees and side to side bench jumps! I’d much prefer throwing weights around! So here was my workout: -20x sit ups on a Swiss ball with 20kg weight... - 20 x push ups - 50x jumping jacks - 20x lunges - 20 x side to side bench jumps - 10 x burpees 3 x rounds Yep I died! Haha So let’s see my form in 6/52 weeks time #watchthisspace See my aim is to hit 10000 x steps, hit 30-45 mins training and try to eat well

We know most of you have been struggling, so now we can see more face-to-face consultations!! Wooooooooo!!!... Unfortunately it isn’t business as usual just yet, however we can see you if you are experiencing pain or if you believe your condition will deteriorate without getting a treatment! No maintenance/tune up type consults just yet! If you like to know a little more about her, have a read below! Jess is a caring and passionate osteopath, who strives to help people feel their best and achieve their goals. She enjoys treating a wide variety of acute and chronic conditions, including neck and back pain, postural complaints, work related injuries and is interested in women’s health. Jess is enthusiastic about holistic health and wellbeing, and takes a patient-centred approach, tailoring treatments to suit the individual and also encouraging patients to take an active role in their recovery. As an osteopath, she uses a range of manual therapy techniques, complementing them with education, rehabilitation and preventative healthcare. She is also qualified in dry needling and cupping. 02.01.2022 Hey guys, we are excited to announce our new Osteo!! Tommy has been working at our clinic for over a month now and we couldn’t be happier having him on board! If you want to get to know him, please read below ... Tommy graduated from Victoria University, and has previously completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science from Deakin University. His interest in osteopathy began after experiencing a back injury from cricket which was managed by an osteopath utilising manual treatment and a rehabilitation program. Tommy utilises manual techniques including joint manipulation, soft tissue massage, mobilisation and dry needling in addition to individualised and goal driven strengthening and rehabilitation programs. His approach focuses on assisting patients achieve their goals as well as improving strength and movement to assist in long term injury prevention. Tommy enjoys treating sporting injuries, headaches, shoulder pathologies, back pain and chronic complaints. Tommy is also the sports trainer for the Northern Saints FC and enjoys working with athletes during their pre-season, in-season training and game days. Outside of the clinic you’ll find Tommy cheering on the mighty Tigers, at the gym training powerlifting and strongman or on the golf course channeling his inner shooter McGavin.
