24.01.2022 It can be very daunting when making the decision to start exercising! Especially when it's something that may not be familiar to you, never exercising before. There are many aspects that will be unfamiliar and at times may cause anxiety and feelings of hesitation, such as what may be involved, what exercises you should or shouldn't be doing, how you will feel the next day or even figuring out what you will wear so that you are feeling as confident and as comfortable as possib...le! It is easy to talk yourself out of why you shouldn't exercise, but there are also many wonderful reasons why you should. So next time you are considering making a change to your life style, convince yourself why you SHOULD start! Because... You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great



22.01.2022 CONSISTENCY! When it comes to exercising and getting the most out of your workouts its important to make sure you are staying consistent to ensure you get optimal benefits! So many people will bust their gut for two hours and then not do anything else for the rest of the week! It's important to regularly exercise so that your body can adjust and make the necessary adaptions towards achieving your goals!... It's all about life style changes, not quick fixes!

22.01.2022 It was such a beautiful morning, I couldn't turn down the opportunity to go for a walk along the beach and include some of my favourite exercises! Here I am doing squats, predominately working the posterior muscles! Glute strength is great for running, jumping and even everyday activities such as sitting and squating... To maximise the benefits of each squat, ensure your feet are shoulder width apart, feet facing slightly outwards, maintain good posture by activating your core and as you drive up, sit back and push through your heals and most importantly, squeeze your glutes!

15.01.2022 One of the key ingredients to remaining physically active is ENJOYMENT If you are not enjoying yourself, then why will you continue? Some of us will have that intrinsic drive to better ourselves, but not everyone will necessarily find sweating and feeling physically exhausted appealing. This is where the social benefits come into play! Next time you are contemplating exercising, grab a friend or family member and become involved together!... Maximise your experience by not only pushing each other to reach your goals but by supporting each other and looking forward to a fun experience together! On Saturday night I completed the NEON run with my friends... It was not only rewarding but also challenging! Not to mention, this particular run was for a good cause! @beyondblue What are you waiting for?



14.01.2022 I have never been a big coffee drinker, as I generally tend to stick to water or green tea. When I came across the fit box from @teaboxdetox I was really excited to try it! As two of the things that I value the most being an athlete and personal trainer, is hydration and the importance of downtime/me time! These two things not only help me to recoup after a very busy day, but also helps to aid the recovery of my training and crazy work schedule! Can't wait to try and let you all know what I think!

07.01.2022 Push ups!! Such a great exercise to work the upper body! There are so many different combinations at many different complexity levels, suiting a range of ages and abilities! They are a must excise to add into your daily routine!
