24.01.2022 Puppy Massage Des had a play date but Cindy is 17 years old with terrible hips, and knees and plantar fasciitis...and shoulders and jaw and weird weird eyes Understand dogs have accidents too, and the accidents add up.... Joints lock, muscles are deactivated fascia tightens...so let’s reset the lot, all are important So we massaged her cranials, reset her cheeks bones, the jaw and the hyoid Reset her shoulders out to her front paws. So far very happy but then we did her hips, her lower spine reset her tail then slowly went out to her rear paws.... slowly slowly. Then we walked and into a slow trot.... We have to recreate natural movement to reactivate everything They naturally do it as youngsters..we all need a bit of encouragement A huge f...t happened but wow her movements improved, but it was her eyes that was the biggest change. 23.01.2022 Today At The Gym: Weak Glutes!! It was an old bloke like me.. We all say hello, laugh and do our stuff. But he was squatting, and then he was doing a stair case double foot squat jumps.... His posture was all wrong, bent and buckled, and his body was shifting to the right. So he is favouring his right leg. Remember muscles pull... Thus the left side is off, out for lunch, not playing well with the right side. Lots more happening that I can see but... His comment was "its weak"...but if it’s being pulled to the right, it’s more complicated than calling something weak. So I suggested, can I make a difference? So. Tested the glute max on both sides...oops, both are wrong...he said weak. 1. Decompressed the joints, both sides at the sacral-iliac joint, decompressed both hips this activated both legs at the glutes 2. Further activated both gluteus Maximus, while deactivating the piriformis 3. Activated the glute Maximus while deactivating the same side and diagonal rhomboids of the shoulders Total time 5 minutes.. A) Then we did some alternative leg squat from one leg to the other. B. The we did some walking to feel the connectivity and feel Gluteus Max activate. Now walk!! I showed him, if the walk with a bit more awareness on comes the BUTT properly the foot will straighten but heaps of other positive things happen as they re-activate ...core/quads/posture/eyes Now try that... try your jump..2 steps now!! 21.01.2022 Hyperthyroidism Every week one symptom clients may have is a thyroid issue. I always say, but this isn’t your only symptom.... We film movement in a walk and we assess posture. Usually you can see the hunched shoulders, the falling head, jaw trouble, turned out feet or clenching feet. The thing about the thyroid is two fold 1. It is the most reactive endocrine structure you have. 2. It sits below the highly mobile head under the jaw that is always participating in your body, wether it’s chewing or talking. It sits above the most mobile joints of the body, the shoulders. Usually all those structures are compromised!! The thyroid tends to placed under pressure by structure and endocrine function. It does not know if it is Arthur or Matha. So I say we make a two prong correction 1. We must place the thyroid in a safe structural place where the head the jaw and the shoulders are not beating it up.... This is my first session correct the total body mobility patterns Go away and do your homework teach the body to move better. 2. Now we reset the whole endocrine structures, remap and re-sequence Now go away and upgrade that whole body on all levels... Diet is important just as is petrol got the car, but if the car is a wreck due to the accidents it has had, a good petrol will not fix the damage, . 20.01.2022 Serious Repetitive Concussions :Chiari Malformation It was that 'one straw that broke the camels back' A cough, which is a reflex response of the body to clear something upsetting the throat.... The cough should dislodge and allow movement up. In this case the release couldn't go up, due to restrictions and it got deflected and went posteriorly and the brain shifted. The doctors did their job with surgery but multiple syptoms deficits arose. The purpose of the visit was to reclaim total body patterns,ultimately there was huge sensory neurological, motor movement, and fascial issues arising. Essentially over the top pain. History brought up discussions about accidents to the body but there were some serious concussive knocks to the head. Essentially a very 'go get-em boy' skateboards, cricket, mountain bike, trail bikes, car accidents and they all added up. The head was in serious whiplash and concussion, locked itself down like a tight clench fist. The cough was like a fire cracker being held in this clench fist....the skull couldn't let go so it blew out. But the locked skull, tight jaw, tight hyoid effected the whole body and it was over-compensating. So two hours later....after thousands of corrections. We have regained posture, better mobility and a self supporting head....more to do. 20.01.2022 Be Objective... You are not Fine ...Posture Out, Your Walking Pattern is Off You squeak and pop, the body groans and whinges No you certainly are not Fine... Fine is not good, fine is not feeling great I remember a friend saying...never use the word fine it has no quality it has no emotion no colour...it’s a word suggesting your average a C just above a D. Your body is not designed to be average. It is designed to be Olympic level Nobel Laureate potential Astronaut intraining But it is all up to you. If you are not feeling like an A ....things are wrong... The thing is your body tells you stuff, it stretches it scratches it rubs....its brushed off as instinctive. Sorry name one thing that you do that is not instinctive and body controlled. These are somatic...total body patterning. The problem could be muscle deactivation, joint ligament locking, tendon overactive, or fascia having upgrade, usually its more than one thing, and thus you get multiple symptoms. Maybe you should listen Accidents are accidents and they just happen, you didnt deliberatly fall off your horse or crash your car, or get crash tackled by some big UNIT, But, number one, your body has to adapt to what you did. 19.01.2022 Migraine Tinnitus Bells Palsy Surfers Ear All this week. When the cranial joints jam, we lose movement. But there are 14 cranial bones, and a lot of joints. There are internal buttresses of bone then there are nerves move through them.... Also, you have highly mobile eyes and a magnificent but complicated jaw that articulates beautifully.. all can lock or be shifted in a certain direction. Nerves can be compressed and muscles can be deactivated too. In saying this, there can be a fair few things that be wrong and don’t work properly, this the variation of pain, and then this head attaches to the spine.... Possibilities of error could then be huge. Not really, we are looking for failure for what is not working correctly in its pattern...is it posterior at mastoid/occipital, or hyoid to jaw, or cheek bone to eye, palate to middle ear, sphenoid to aponeurosis at top of head...check and do the lot...wrong is wrong, test don’t guess, that body hates failure and it hates pain...it learns It’s never about one thing. Sphenoid out, reflexes off, palate buckled, jaw mal aligning, mastoid unbalanced eyes not partipating correctly, jammed cervical spine, muscles, hyoid incorrectly balanced... all of these produce unequal forces and pain arises. Facial symmetry gives it away, as does the posture and the walk... Reset and reinstall the correct patterns. Client then retracted the patterns...upgrade always upgrade and retract that body. 19.01.2022 At The Gym...another Old Fella. so we did some mobility work, these are Somatic patterns and some Pandiculations, they MAKE the whole body participate People say they are un-coordinated. No you lost it over time, but for some their body never set itself correctly in the first place!!!... These trigger re-co-ordination!! That’s why it’s somatic... whole body!! It switches everything on They Worked a treat 5 Minutes and everything was easier.. Why don’t all therapists work like this!! Well they’re looking for the needle in the haystack...that’s too hard, this makes everything and everyone learn to play again, with each other. No choice, there are rules the body follows, i reintroduce the rules..This make everything come on!! See it was an old fella, like me was trying so hard to do his routine. But what I see, his posture was so wrong...see he was older than I, about 70 ish. So he had been involved in a lot of life, lots of accidents, he was a farmer, and he played sport. The body took short cuts and disorganised it self. With gym work I reminded him that he is doing weights, they attempt to work on muscle but those muscles attach to a skeleton that moves. Your body shape is wrong...the team is not on the field anymore, its like you need a panel beating. But we don’t do that. We need the body to be reminded of its wayward ways If your body is not the shape it was...something is wrong. If one part is out...muscle or bone, you will find it difficult. You will squeak and pop...and you get told, thats pain Essentially your like an old VW beetle...its been involved in some accidents. We need the whole car to be better. More to do...again find what is not working All needs to to be reset, but two critical things 1. The body does not like failure 2. The human body is identical to all, it follows patterns and those patterns follow rules..use them, dont guess, don't try to find the piece of magic. 19.01.2022 Babies Births. It’s good, normal or it’s not!! How do you know...oh, you’ll find out later!!... 1. A young baby...."Wow... he is much calmer, he actually sleeps better." 2. A young teenage girl with scoliosis... "She has completely straightened up, she is so much taller... calmer, more alert!!" A birth is not a sneeze and out comes the baby. It can be like a war for the little one, from day one, it can put the baby's body into stress. For me as a neurophysiologist, I assess patterns. I test, I don’t guess. It’s correct or it’s wrong Postural patterns, walking patterns, eye and their ability to track, a head movement, hyoid in relation to the jaw and the palate. Eye patterns and their inter-relationships to the body are give aways......wrong is wrong. Not weak, wrong. Concussion have their own eye pattern, as does a whiplash. But digestive, immune, and toilet are patterns. Wrong is still wrong, a tablet, a bit of magnesium will not fix a neurological to motor functional pattern. I see the frustration trainers and clients have. You can’t strengthen something that is neurologically disconnected from their patterns. Yoga and Pilates have the same dilemma, we have to strengthen this or that Off is off, if it’s weak something is wrong. So I suggest, let’s just begin again and re-sequence the reflex to motor patterns, and integrate, increase the complexity until we can install them correct to their developmental stage of the client!! Awareness first, Instant connection, power comes back on. Straighter stronger and you feel it.. your body recognises the better...now you feel it, you are calmer It can be a baby a toddler or a teenager, or an adult...same patterns but the older the more complex they should be. If as in adults they are a real mess or in scoliosis or shocking posture, it makes no difference. Human is human, we are genetically to 6 decimal places identical, begin at the beginning and start again. But I warn all! It took you a year to walk. You are not a horse who gets up immediately... You must decide to get better, I cannot make you practice or essentially do your homework. 18.01.2022 While At The Gym... Recently I had to help a lady She was working on her "latts" so doing a pull down, but she couldn't execute to its full range. The body was cheating, so trying to compensate, the correct and most efficient pattern was not available..but it creates the pain, and that face of grimace triggers the Boy Scout resposne... She seemed in great pain, but not in one spot....in the arm, but I asked. "do you hurt here at the shoulder, poke, her at the inner elbow, poke, and here in the wrist, poke poke" You have a bit of trouble with the all joints of the arm. The body always does more than one thing, never just one thing. So a bit of rotator cuff muscle issues, a bit of golfers and tennis elbow and then a bit of carpal tunnel. So into correction,activation and instalation, so a bit of NKT, a bit of Kinesiology, a bit of Total Body Intergration 1. decompressed the shoulder, released the subscapualris and activated the lower trap. 2. decompressed and released the tricep attachment at the medial epicondyle of elbow, reactivated the latissimus dorsi 3. decompressed and released the compression of the wrist at the ulnar nerve. Reactivated the interosseous muscles of the hand. Demonstrated some mobility patterns to keep it out of compression. All up, 5 to 6 minutes. 16.01.2022 Perineal Tearing It’s not fun then and some ladies suffer later badly because of it. The thing is, I can see it in a clients walk, while out shopping, out walking my dog... 1. Knees held tight together 2. Feet rolling in very quickly 3. Hips Tight 4. Arms in a narrow swing in front of body 5. Hands face backwards 'Your pelvic floor is very upset....what has happened down there?" client one I tore badly, but that was ages ago client two Ever since I had children, I just dont have the body I had. client three I have no feeling of control, and this is physical but my emotions are so haphazard Just have a think where this is. Its in between the vagina and the anus, one is birth, excretion and the other is elimination. This is a highly highly highly important area As a male...I do not want to be kicked here. Damage here and it will drop us to the ground, the point I'm trying to make is that damage down there influences the whole body. Anatomy wise this is part of your lower diaphragm, it generates abdominal pressure but up, not out Physiological wise its at the end of three major systems, digestion, reproduction and urination. Yoga and Kinesiology. Its base chakra, its personal power, its core values, tribe and belonging. The important point I stress to people is not one pat of you exists in isolation, you are not a car full of individual parts, you are more like a clock of interconnection gears, but effect one gear you effect the WHOLE clock but the influence happens on each and every other cog too. So tearing at the perineum will upset WHO and WHAT you are. I get the comment, but I'm trying to strengthen my pelvic floor, or I'm strengthening my core. ' I bet you hold your breath, or do you grit your teeth, or do your eyes have to close, you feel it in your throat?' There is strong and ON or if its weak, something is wrong and it is off. If weak the rest to the body will try and help, but it will throw you out in doing so. We needed to reset the pelvic floor, and then reinstall this correct and strong structure back it into the team it is to play with. The pelvic floor is part of the vertical axis the vertical kinetic chain which all the diaphragms of the body are part of. When any are off the body slumps down, the person feels heavy, less vital, breath, thinking, emotions all are compromised. After table work, we needed to put everything back together as one This client needed a short video to aid pain due to compression of the Right hip and also the Lower back. Joints compress, but some muscles become over active, others are asleep. We need to wake up both the joint and the muscles, equalize forces, get the Band Back together....how we can do that is get the Whole Body to help, act as one but one step at a time. 1. Joints have Three Axis....so vertical, a horizontal and a rotational plane. 2. So with this we could use the other major joints with their muscular relationships to act at the hips and the lower back to create greater mobility. The body works as a team, so use the remainder of the team to upgrade and pull the body out of its lockdown. 16.01.2022 No I don’t want A Hip Replacement A recent client was told, ' it looks as if you are heading for a total hip rplacement' So I was asked..... Can we see if we can make a difference. I do yoga I stretch but I can’t make a change What was found, it wasn't just about the hip. Simple really, bad stuff doesnt just happen, and its not about getting older Injuries caused the hip to lock itself down. Multiple big surfing accidents An overseas, internal intestinal over-response and scarring A badly rolled ankle Repetitive work injuries All created pain and the body adapted and moved away from these points of pain It didn’t do one thing, it did 100s There is no magic...find what is not working, get everything to work properly!! 1. So the body physical compressed the hip into to its socket, it also locked at the pelvis, and lower spine . These are ligament associations. Ligaments are tonka tuff and designed to stabilise, now we have too much stability and not enough mobility. 2. Muscle that moves joints some were deactivated, some were then overly activated designed now to pull the leg in a certain direction to further compress the joints 3. Fascia tightens up, like elastic bands, but unequally, result pain at hip, at the knee and the ankle. The feeling is further tightness. 4. The hip is one part of the leg, so the effects were seen at the knee and the ankle and into the shape of the foot. Posture and walking patterns showed obvious awkward changes 5. The foot turned out to further vector the leg into the the hip and the plevis 6. Arms swung but un- evenly, and into a directed rotation that augmented into the hip compression . So on the table, many many associations had to re-patterned, it wasn't and never is just about one thing. Many many many corrections but then body needs to be hardwired back together as one, like a clock of cogs. So a new and better team, as one, not like a random bunch. The body WILL NOT do this itself, it needs to be taught and re-taught and RE_TAUGHT. Then we must totally repattern and upgrade the whole body back to better mobility patterns in all possible axis. When.....continously, watch a toddler, they are relentless in teaching themselves...well the genetic code and the survival systems are relentless So in bed, sitting, standing and walking ...upgrade always upgrade do not allow the body to go backwards it’s about continual mindfulness. 15.01.2022 Birth Trauma Maybe It becomes the first scare to that body you have Symptoms can be subtle to profound ... But: He is so Much Better... His posture is straight, he feels so much better. 'taller, straighter, stronger, calmer " What happens if your birth is a challenge? You get caught or you have a long labour or the umbilical chord is wrapped around your throat. Pretty scary for a little baby. Well this happens and often.... What I see is the later symptoms, and there are a lot of them. In these cases, what I suggest is that we trick the body and reset the primitive reflexes to reinstall. These can now be upgraded to the primitive movement patterns. Then the movements are upgraded and assimilated into the fundamental movement patterns. Once here we again get them to be assimilated into more important and advanced patterns of walking by upgrading the gait reflex. I keep getting the persons body to create something that is more advanced, that body of yours' can cope, it is designed to learn....it is designed to be the best it can be. 15.01.2022 Pelvic Floor...i think it’s Weak Did something happen to you down that way See your core its struggling, it’s incomplete.... Some of it is on, some is not. So you can overuse what is on...but let’s test!! Something is wrong, something must have happened!! 1. Yes I tore with my first child, then had a caesarian 2. Vasectomy 3. I was little and I was violated.. 4. Kidney operation. 5. Testicle cyst, and a gall bladder operation. 6. I fell onto the cross beam of my bike as a kid 7. I was hanging off the Hill's Hoist and fell onto my groin 8. Rugby injury right where it hurts. All of these produced amazing symptoms. Back pain, incontinence, digestive trouble, toilet trouble, breathing issues, buckled posture. There was various emotional attachments to this. Thinking issues are out, physiological ramifications, energetics will be out, huge stuff can be happening!! The perineum is part of your pelvic floor, its physically attached to so many layers of what you are, but where it is, its role structurally and its involvement in who and what you are is profound. A simple analogy, you play sport, but if you do not have the whole team on the field or you don't have the right equipment, you will ultimately lose. You can cope, you can adapt, but sooner or later you will fail. I test for competence of the pelvic floor, if it is on, it is strong, if it is not strong there is something wrong.... If it is weak, there is something wrong, find out what is happening, what has turned the power down on the pelvic floor, remove that and the whole pelvic floor comes on. Again like a team missing key players can try harder but soon they burn out, problems arise elsewhere. If something is said to be weak. If the movement patterns are wrong or not correct, find out what is wrong!! I see it in a walk, I see it when clients do certain movements. But a physical test is either correct or wrong... It is in your history...you had an accident, something happened. Stop beating yourself up 1. Reset everything that is not working 2. Reinstall everything to work together as one at one time.... 14.01.2022 My Jaw, my Smile but it could be Tinnitus, Headaches, My Squint, my Voice "Look closely a non-symmetrical face." Put your finger in your mouth, run your finger along your palate......a good palate is like the dome of a church. A buckled palate suggests something has happened.... This is common. Some clients have a mal-tracking jaw, it may click. But why? That jaw you can use to suspend yourself from a rope, it can crack nuts, bones, and take the lid of a beer. If you are bitten by someone you know about it. You could lose a finger if you put it in someone's mouth. Since it is so powerful, your body can take a little bit of its power and use it for other stuff. Like helping to hold your head on, and pull your body to one side. It is so powerful it can buckle the palate that sits above it. Little ones, young babies can lock their jaw down as they are born if their birth is a bit of a challenge. That palate will experience a force and can vector up, or fold over at its suture. In saying all of that, the crooked smile, the non-symmetrical face arises because the jaw is doing something more than its normal function. But it will cause influence all over the place. Move your jaw to one side, it pulls your eyes, your throat and your shoulder, but also your hip your knee your feet.... Pull it back and bingo...lots of stuff is influenced. So I ask about history, tell me about your birth, did you have a toddler event, what about a substantial accident. How about a car, or a horse fall, a surfing accident. Your skull, it has a lot of bones, a lot of joints and they do move, not a lot just a bit, yet they work as a team so they do things together....but it is later when you notice, a lot of the time they have been locked down. Now your face shape will change. The nose may bend, cheekbones may be out of alignment, eyes, and ears too. When this happens, headaches, tinnitus, lazy eyes, sinus issues, and snoring can occur. Structure changes, affect muscle, nerve, and blood flow. At the head, but neck, shoulder, hand...look just about everywhere. All must be cleared, all must reset and reinstall correctly. That body is a team, and that team works best as a proper team. You have 360 joints in total, with ligaments holding them together but moved by muscles, 550 of them. 14.01.2022 Walking is a Wonderful Indicator of Trouble : and of positive change It’s supposed to be easy it swings and drives itself along the ground but it’s rhythmic and connected like cogs in a clock... It’s either good or it needs an upgrade What’s not moving well, think of cogs of a clock... all participate together or if not the clock stops Look close, look at the before, look at the after....no none are finished, all have work to do. Shoulders and arms... 1. Do they swing and are they equal 2. Is the swing equal coming forward of the hip and rearward 3. Does the hand and wrist move or is it locking Do the hips move 1. Is their a swagger from side to side 2. Do the hips lift and tilt Does the leg lift 1. Do the toes lift the knee to lift at the hips Do the feet move. 1. Does the heel strike 2. Does the feet roll in and then out 3. Do the feet follow the knee and the roll, the swagger of the hip. Then look again does the body lift, does it look slow and heavy, is it syncronous, co-ordinated or is out of step....then look at the changes. 13.01.2022 "I feel Absolutely #%&*!!!!" I'm Continuously asking ...How Do You Feel now ? What a weird and over simplified question.... Is this a physical body question Or an emotional question Or even a physiological or a thinking question. For each of us, it should be all of the above. We are all Human, all designed the same, that is the body is designed the same, not YOU, not WHO you are. The body you have runs the show, you use it, all you do is feed it. I have clients that come with so many issues, but they don't see them because they are not looking at themselves from a distance....so I show them. I show them a video, their walking and their posture. We then pull that video apart. Look at your body, it is not feeling fine, its struggling and your in it....it feels likes crap because it is not moving as it should. The giveaway for everyone, is like our name, we all love a single label "i'm depressed" 'I have diabetes" 'I have parkinsons" "Its Osgood Schlatters" "I cant go to the toilet" "I dont do crowds" " I have some bone issue I can't pronunce" Sorry your body is out...but out everywhere, on all levels. Spirit, Mind, Emotions, Thinking, Endocrine....yep toilet, yep feelings in crowds,.....yep your bone issue, but that is not the only thing out!!!! Your WHOLe body is out... So we talk about, what has happened to you... 13.01.2022 Back a life time ago, the option I had was do my PHD in neurophysiology, specifically in Audiology, dad said, "what another 5 years, go get a job"....but I do remember fascinating discussions in the undergraduate programme. As a therapist so often I find this relationship. A Jaw jammed into its socket, back and up. B Posterior cranials jammed mainly to the right.... C Palate compressing D Hyoid pulled up. All of this is compression, its a pressure effect. This creates a problem at any vessel one being the eustachian tube up to cavity of the middle ear, under pressure both reduce in their diameter. The pressure build up creates a response by the body to oppose that pressure with an incompressible fluid, this is a Stevens Power Law and Davis Law response 'oppose the force with a tissue response"...so produces excess fluid, thus the wax....its basically an inflammatory response. Simple really... remove the pressure. Remove the compression by resetting and equalising natural joint and muscle forces and then we do the below. But why does this happen in the first place...kids have accidents and they add up....
13.01.2022 When Everything is On...it’s all so much easier But if it’s not, it’s awkward, there is resistance and it hurts. Accidents happen Accidents upset that body of yours... That body of yours can all of a sudden go into over protection and you feel so uncoordinated so disconnected.. What I always hear, there is that one accident that we all remember...and now you get stiff yiu can’t do easily what you could before and you are in constant pain So lets look closely at the walk It’s ok but it’s doesn’t look like it’s having fun, there is too many things not quite right. Heavy head, sore Neck and Jaw Core in trouble Pelvic floor too Hip not expressing evenly flexors upset And Feet look heavy The arm swing is uneven It’s easier for me to simply reset the lot Reset the neurological sequencing motor patterns and then upgrade that whole body Thus in summary Find what is not working Why and Reboot 1. Start at the control centres first Clients over the last couple of weeks, came with a plethora of issues, but many the time hormonal trouble is present Sleep, period, pregnancy, toilet, stress, endometriosis ... Again, each client has many symptoms, posture could be better, joint pain, walking pain, loss of power in the hands. Everything of your body is attached and then it works as one!! So I always telll them, you must reset your body daily and put it back together to be better than what it was Here is what I go through to make sure the master control endocrine structures are sitting in a nice and mobile skull with a big play area. But I make it obvious, " you want to get better, if you were playing a guitar if you only played the same song and only the same song...you won't get better in playing the guitar, only playing that song" So you must upgrade all of what your body is, and I show them, I teach them, and I give them videos 1. Calm the body down....get it out of fight and flight, this is the terror the anxiousness, the depression. Dont just talk the talk, physically get the breath to calm, get the emotions to calm. 2. 13.01.2022 I'm Still Unconnected..."is it my Heart and Throat Chakra So is it 1. Physical issues ....Ohhh yes 2. Is it Emotional ....oh for sure... 3. Is it my Chakra....of course it is." But which one.....you are a little bit more complicated than just a block of wood, you integrate on all levels, so it is all of them and all at once, so lets reset and reinstall all of them. Your body when alive needs food to produce energy from breaking and remaking bonds, but at the cell level the cells have a charge difference, which reverses and reverses continuously, This happens in your heart and we get a heart beat, and an ECG measures this, in your head same happens and we get Brain waves, in muscles and nerves this happens. So we produce a field....but at cell level its low powered milliVolt, same same stuff and we get a Chakra. 1. Heart Chakra Problem....is it heart, ummm No. But the the posture of a person who is experiencing dilemma here has very rolled in shoulders, falling head, feet like a duck and looks heavy. Their posture and their walk doesn't allow the arms to swing on the side, the hands seem to come across the body, heavy legs. Sore feet, they look as if they have the weight of the world on their shoulders. Draw vector lines an they go through the sternum....they cant breath like they used to ....they feel trapped. We need to get that head on correctly, get it out of concussion and whiplash, get those arms to swing to drive the breath and the hearten do its job correctly not having to labour and work tooooooo hard. Legs on and blah blah blah, get everything to work better. 2. Throat chakra....feeling trapped and less expressive at the throat. Here these people are using their jaw and hyoid above their pay grade. Head is pulled down and the throat is slightly trapped, shoulders are forward, but throat is pulling up into the back of jaw. Eyes will be down cast long back of neck but short front of neck Walking pattern will have a longer forward swing of arm and the arms can't go back far. Again something happened to trigger a whiplash and concussion but they could have landed on their tail or onto their back. 12.01.2022 Back Pain See that scar, see that other scar!! Feel this...I touch and they hurt, they’re the villains ... You have been cut. You were knocked out both times...no, it’s not about you, your body was numbed and then knocked out When your body woke up it went WTF!! It moved backwards away from the cut, so it locked up the back... We have to reset the skin. Clear the scar effect and reactivate the core...hip flexors, pelvic floor, quadriceps, blah blah blah...and reactivate your movement patterns I’ve had clients this happened too due to a naval piercing, even an infected tattoo. Others have problems form earlier, endometriosis and that internal scarring attached to the C-section scar. Irritable bowel, ICV issues. Skin has fascia, organs have fascia, muscle, nerve too, but fascia can get sticky due to irregular healing...and the body hates pain and moves away from pain. But scarring does this to tissues below it Carpel Tunnel a trapped nerve and muscle Tennis Elbow trapped muscles Hiatus Hernia diaphragm on the oesophaus Reflux same as above Constipation and diarrhoea can be due to the digestive valves being trapped by the fascia of the abdominals or its local muscles Prolapse rectal or vaginal due to the sphincters being off sequence due to other local tissues trapping or inhibiting their normal action Vagal nerve entrapment, as is sciatica, as is bakers cyst as is ankle issues have local structures inhibiting the normal action of the muscles trapping or compressing the neural action.... 11.01.2022 Surfers Ear. A recent client came with this as one of many symptoms.... Back at Uni, in Biophysics and in Neurophysiology we used to talk about a little rule the body follows, its called Wolf's Law, and our body uses it all the time. ... Your body will deposit cellular bone at sites of load, or it will do the opposite if lesser load is present Space flight and astronauts suffer loss due to no gravity. Knee bone growth at the patellar in Kids and subsequent knee pain can happen, this is called Osgood Schlatters Disease, Severs is the same dilemma in the foot heel happen too with kids. Brushed off as growing pains..Spurs happen too, in the feet, shoulder and spine, unequal forces!! For me, I'm always testing for something wrong, too much force somewhere, so the body is adapting, bone growth is up as a local muscle force is not balanced!! With a surfer's ear, exostosis occurs. Bone growth from the temporal bone into the auditory canal happens. Why, what's not working properly. 1. "lets test for concussion, whiplash, and jaw issues" Have you had a few head knocks.... I surf, of course I have Sorry bud, your whole head is being supported by that jaw, the cranial plates at the back of the head, and internally by that palate. The forces to lock that head down were huge, think of you crushing your hand into a fist. Now thats strong....do that with your jaw and you'll bite someones fingers off. Answer 1...your body will try to oppose that force, let’s build more bone... 2. But you are in the water, and cold surfers have 75% higher incidence of exostosis than warm water. Its cold, you grit your jaw more, all the cranial plates, and the palate upgrade their buttressing effects...again your body will adapt. Its a spur but in your ear!! So what did we do. Cleared the concussion, cleared the whiplash, balanced up the jaw so it was doing its job only. Essentially we reset the whole body and made sure it was mechanically doing its job correctly. 11.01.2022 Doggy Massage Today when taking Desmond Da Dawg for his morning walk, I bumped into a lady with her dog!! They were sharing their last day together as her lovely Jessie was going to sleep today... Jessie was 15 but her hips knees and paws were not behaving. I said to her that I work on Desmond every second day....essentially I masssge him But do what I do on humans but not to the intricate testing for failure!! So I suggested let’s just make this day a good day for Jessie. Essentially dogs are just like us, they have accidents, snd the total body protects itself Stiff hips, jammed pelvis, lower back lumbar spine....all the way to mal tracking knees, rotator cuff trouble snd plantar fasciitis. Concussion and whiplash Anyway started slow a lovely gentle massage. But as she trusted me, I decompressed the whole leg, hips, pelvis, lumbar to the paws Then...Shoulders out to paws Then the cranials, jaw, hyoid, did the eyes the nose and cheek bones. Encouraged Jessie to stretch to pandiculate, you see dogs doing it first in the morning, they do the front limbs, downward dog then they kick out the back limbs. 10.01.2022 My Poor Hands This week as most weeks I test the competence of the hands Ok shake hands, go on, make me cry. Some clients have 1. Loss of power or grip strength... 2. Loss of feeling 3. Loss of precision work 4. They get cold, tingly or numb "Maybe I've got....Arthritis, Carpal tunnel syndrome, De Quervain’s tenosynovitis, Ganglion cysts, Gout,Lupus, Peripheral neuropathy, Raynaud’s phenomenon" Look I'm not a doctor, I'm not allowed to say what you have, I can only find out what you can't do!!! That hand connects at the wrist to an arm up to a shoulder a neck and to that head. So check the fingers for flexion and extension same at the wrist, as well as rotation and the ability to resist being spread apart. But don't forget the competence of the arm, shoulder and also that neck and head. They're all important. Joints compress, and nerves, muscles and vascular flow are effected. Try this, straight arm, and turn the palm up strong, all the way up through the elbow, past the shoulder and into the neck. You will feel the fingers spread, the elbow make its own whinge, the shoulder will roll back, and the head will straighten. Any restrictions at all will generate pain..."It hurts I’m not good at this" But the converse is also true. What happens if the posture is out, the head is forward, the shoulders hunch, the elbows rotate inwards and then the fingers don’t spread the fingers claw and don’t extend. . We have strife, we start to get poor mobility and trouble is happening all the way down arm. Try it roll the hand in, feel the change in your posture. So find out what can't work and relate to the site of pain. Question what happened to the client, discuss history. Some had compression and muscles were off, so tendon pain. Some had compression and nerves and vascular flow both were reduced. Some had compression and a build up crap had produced pain.. But where, all over the place...wrist, fingers, elbow, shoulder, neck Its never about one thing, its never just in one place. Get everyone to do their job properly BUT thats not enough. The body must be given a better alternative, a better mobility pattern, get it out of doing repeating this, get it out of survival, so turn off the history that set this up, thus multiple places to correct. 09.01.2022 Dad, I have a Cough.... Doggy Massage Time Do dogs get Concussion? Bloody Willy Wag Tails.... They absolutely harass Desmond, they would harass an RAAF jet if they could, anyway poor Desmond took his eyes off where he was going and he went Bumpinto a tree...now that would have hurt!! But what do dogs do? Sit down and whinge, no, they get up shake themselves off and back to work....into trot mode and it’s pay back time with the seagulls, shags and pigeons. so he appeared fine. But Desmond developed a cough Was something physically stuck or was it a mechanical issue?? I can go to vet and $500 later due to let’s take his photo (X-ray) blood test or give him drugs ( anti inflammatory and some corticosteroids) And a bit of prodding!! Look into the eyes looking for ??? No testing no relationship to function... f..... that. So I physically checked his 1. cranials, his eyes , his nose and cheek bones. Reset them anyway 2. Check cervical spine alignment to neck rotators posterior to jaw and anterior to hyoid Oooooh no. 1 trouble here... the jaw aligned right snd posterior, cervical also left and into posterior mastoid. Oooh no. 2. The hyoid was shifting also right but inferior to collar bone impinging on larynx... a big cough happened. FOUND YOU!! Reset shoulders to throat posterior to anterior Reset shoulder blades and decompressed front legs.. What did Desmond do... up he got big stretch, a pandiculatory response, kicked his legs out so another big stretch. I took him to the beach to trot himself back together... We call it instinct or look how cute is that dog he is stretching...it’s much more interesting and functional if you watch.. Maybe it will make you think....why do dogs pull hard on the lead...let them go, and they go straight into trot....they want to upgrade to get better and install!! 08.01.2022 Troubled Feet. This client had many symptoms Posture Sore back headaches... Jaw issues Blah blah.... But it was the feet they were killing him. I said your feet are working too hard and they are anchoring or clawing into the ground. After two hours of rebooting his body back on, a big component of his rehabilitation is obviously to get better but it needs to be Better and each day BETTER, So it’s was about isolating specific patterns and reactivate everything in that pattern, to work better than what it did You must create connectivity again to your body, you will feel more co-ordinated but stronger but less pain as everything works together. We must upgrade its patterns of movement from arm to feet If the arms swing the legs will lift, but we must connect to the toes again because the begin the leg lift. Two things 1.We can upgrade by focusing on the arm swing to toe 2. We can upgrade the foot by using a wedge and swing the arms, and the toes get a further upgrade! Why did this all happen....too many accidents A troubled birth, kamikaze kid!! Essentially beat himself up and the body put itself in a big hug, fingers clenched so did the toes, same with jaw, shoulders, neck, eyes closed So in concussion, with whiplash. 08.01.2022 Concussion There are symptoms, signs of a concussion, and then there are functions and actions that the body cannot do. A serious blow, a knock rattles and scares the body.... It goes into protection, it activates a survival response. A physical, a mechanical lockdown, attached to that is the physiological responses, and obviously body emotional. You want to make a change and get the body out of this. So don't just take an expensive photo. Magic water, extended laying down, medication will not reset the neurology. You must be tested for neurological and muscle competence of reflexes under load, meaning can your body resist and maintain competence against a minor force If the body fails and the symptoms arise, we have to reset, not allow the dysfunction to remain. Reset that survival over response Reset and reinstall the primitive reflexes. Reset the primitive patterns and reinstall them Reset the fundamental movement patterns and upgrade them into the walking patterns. Dogs, cats, birds, horses....if they have a fall. They don't lay down with nice warm milk and a blanky wrapped around them. Own it...so once reset to reinstall you must teach your body to be better, give it something better that what it is doing. 08.01.2022 Today At The Gym: I have Weak Glutes!! It was an old bloke like me.. We all say hello, laugh and do our stuff. But he was squatting, and then he was doing a stair case double foot squat jumps.... His posture was all wrong, bent and buckled, and his body was shifting to the right. So he is favouring his right leg. Thus the left side is off, out for lunch, not playing well with the right side. Lots more happening that I can see but... His comment was "its weak"... So I suggested, can I make a difference? So. Tested the glute max on both sides...oops, he said weak. 1. Decompressed both sides at the sacral-iliac joint, decompressed both hips activated both legs at the glutes 2. Further activated both gluteus Maximus, while deactivating the piriformis 3. Activated the glute Maximus while deactivating the same side and diagonal rhomboids of the shoulders Total time 5 minutes.. A) Then we did some alternative leg squat from one leg to the other. B. The we did some walking to feel the Gluteus Max activate. Now walk!! I showed him, if the walk with a bit more awareness on comes the BUTT properly the foot will straighten but heaps of other positive things happen...core/quads/posture/eyes Now try that... try your jump..2 steps now!! 07.01.2022 Concussion Why do I keep rubbing my eyes Let’s look at your history then test ....the eyes are doing something above their pay grade, and they are upset ... Ummmm .....did You hit your head ...hard...your eyes will not go up, so they go and now they and you have created a stoop So you hit your head hard enough , your body responds very quickly, it knocks you out...the hit triggers the response everything goes off, eyes close but that’s not all it is a total body response. "Did you drop to the ground" Its natural, a reflexive movement and then quickly wraps you into a foetal position. But does it go back to what it was? Well you hope so, but how do you know? Well for this client and all my clients, do not assume anything, don't guess, simple test for competence. Why Strong is on Weak is wrong. So what if I find Eyes out, they look down not up and not to the sides Jaw out, it retracts and goes left Head now unsupported Hyoid locked up snd in Ringing ears Brain fog Emotional cascade. Ummmm, nah, your body didn't reset. But the ramifications now spread out like cobwebs. Stiffness happens Abilities become "I'm not what I was" The body has to be re-trigggered, essentially a reset. This is reflexive, thus a neurological re-pattern, then the patterns come back on....not a 'oh you'll be right" All needs to be reinstalled and it all needs to be in an upgrade, pulling it back to what it should be. 05.01.2022 Swimming Well. This was an issue with a weakness. I remember being taught, at Uni in physiology "muscles are not weak they have the tensile competence of steel, they are strong full stop, don't call it weak, something is wrong"... Understand muscles contract, or they relax. For a limb to move a muscle must contract but if it is appears weak then its about some opposable muscle or a muscle chain that is not relaxing. But it becomes why won't it relax? In swimming then if the arm cannot lift or it cannot lengthen fully then it is being pulled in the direction away from the lift you want to do. Remember you are a quadraped and swimming it requires all four limbs at once....in all the axis X, Y and Z to all be on and equally balanced. This is where the problem is....but don't guess it won't be about one simple relationship, so stop thinking "must strengthen" So we found what is not working and why, so switched them all on, then we reset all the pattens and then UPGRADED them. in all X all Y all Z patterns Your body is awesome...you apply a force and it will oppose it, so we could UPGRADE that body out of the pool, get the body to swing and kick so be driven by the feet or the hands or the shoulders or the elbows, or the core or the butt. No error, no mistakes....But apply a force resistance within the chains or axis and the body UPGRADES...the efficiency the work and power goes through the roof "how does it feel" Easy and so silky... Now I have these swimmers, they are in the top two in multiple strokes, in WA If the whole team is on the paddock and they are all playing together perfectly....you are competitive. 05.01.2022 Asthma No its not...'what, I was told I have asthma, I even have medication for it!' So we tested for what failed, what did not work and when this person had to hold their breath... 1. Pulled at his head, he couldn't hold it but...he held his breath 2. Pushed at his head, he couldn't resist but...he held his breath 3. Pushed at his chest, he couldn't resist but...he held his breath 4. Pushed his hips, not couldn't resist...he held his breath 5. Tested a rotation..he couldn't resist, but he held his breath. Did you have a few accidents...'Well no more than anyone else. Played footie, rode a bike, surfed....' Do you do them now. NOOOOOOO....I can't, I can't even get up the stairs properly. So I asked a simple question. Is this the same body shape you had as a sportsperson. Noooooo, look at me. 1. we all have accidents. 2. we all knock our head, and heaps!! 3. accidents add up. 4. accidents slowly take you and your team of movement parts out of the game. What is the one team of your body that never can have a rest? Your lung your breath and your heart..... Your body shape changes much as that axiom, don't use it you lose it...but you are losing players off your team and so your shape changes....but you must breath. So what you are doing is having to hold your breath a little bit more to help each player that you dont have. How do we get around that Reset the team, bring everyone back onto the paddock, which is what we did. Took him out of concussion, out of whiplash Reset his posture his walking pattern Rebooted his feet to hands in their swing Wow....i feel great, I'm fas, I'm strong, I feel 20 years younger. 05.01.2022 Headaches and Migraines A Very Desperate Client I could see the distress, I could see the body over compensating.... Furrowed brow, eyes clenching, jaw tight, face tight, but this spreads out....tending to grip like creating a fist, shoulders rolled forward..... I said to the person your body is gripping everywhere, analogous to the whole body clenching itself like a fist. But the headache is the head doing this, yes.....its spreads out like cobwebs, all the joints, the major muscular drivers of the face, these being the eyes and the jaw. But the skin tightens, fascial nerves get compressed, then it filters into the whole body. Now you can take a tablet and this changes the chemistry of the body for a while....relief. But two bad things happen, 1. everything still comes back because you haven't changed anything to something better, you haven't turned off the bad habit the body is in. So the structural and physiological problems come back. 2. your body adapts to everything you do. Give it a tablet it will see it as a source of nutrient a building block and it will use it in multiple ways for its benefit. So now you are in a pickle as the effectiveness of that drug diminishes. Anyway we found what is not working properly and why. Reset all the joints, calmed the survival systems down, reset the muscular support systems, reset the fascial systems, get the fascial nerves out of compression. Reconnected to the head back to the spine, the hyoid and the shoulders and retaught the body to assimilate all of these changes back into full body movement patterns. 04.01.2022 Help...... My Core.. My Pelvic Floor My core is kaput Or I have a bit of incontinence ... Or Then there is Prolapse Watch the walk... 1. knees very close together 2. Feet rolling in too soon 3. Hands face backwards To me this is a give away....core and pelvic floor are screaming for help. Essentially Bits and pieces are off or asleep Give it a go walk like that, try it Pigeon toed, knock knees it’s like your trying to hold a tennis ball at your knees. But your body will adapt at eyes the jaw the throat shoulders out to hands... What the body is doing is creating a false core using the major joints below the core, it’s using the feet and knees, but it will create all of what I said above too. But you ask do you have stiff hips, a sore back....??? YES YES!! The core, the pelvic floor attach to spine to the hips but also up to the ribs.. some of them have been deactivated.... why did this happen accidents and then they become a mum, Was it a good birth......it was ok through to I ripped, I had a c section. All together these all triggered a response by the body, which temporarily turns off structures. The problem it didn’t trigger these to come back on. I’m not a trainer i work with different knowledge. Either core and pelvic floor is strong or it’s asking to be triggered to come back on... So that’s what we did, find what turned these off, and reset, but what is now on must be fully integrated or retaught to play with the rest of the body Also those feet, those knees those hips the diaphragm etc must also be triggered to go back to their original purpose!! People think everything will return to optimum,......it does not. 03.01.2022 I’m Feeling so Disconnected ...accidents happen but this impacts on many levels, Structure Emotions Function and also Chakra, and Aura shift s, the person feels the loss of their power 1.First Chakra Stuff Being a boy, playing sport and copping a knock to where you don't want to be hit, it hurts We quite quickly lose control, we drop, muscles are deactivated, but it all comes back on doesn't it....well usually, but for some its not quite the same... When mums become mums, the birth of the child requires the body also to deactivate some of the musculature, and losen up ligaments in the pelvis. Does it come back on? Then there are women who need intervention, they need to be cut, or get a lower back neural block, some ladies even tear.... and for some of these women not everything comes back on. They feel as if they have lost control.... this is base chakra stuff, all about your power! Physical issues of Incontinence , prolapse, even double prolapse. But what I see is the walk, I see the closeness of knees, and lower on the body the rolled in feet Men get vasectomy and for some, they feel different, not connected.... Many the time its the scarring that does this, the scar messes up your connectivity. 2, Second Chakra Stuff Scarring from Appendix operations, abdominal investigations, C-Secions, Lumbar Punctures. In these cases, a feeling of connectivity is lost, I I find the umbilical ligament upgrades to lock, but what it creates is now a body in two halves, feet roll in at ankle, feet out like a duck, stiff hips, lower back pain. Upper half of the body has rolled shoulders forward head. 3. Solar Plexus All about diaphragm being used above its pay grade. These clients seem to run out of breath. In these cases core, pelvic floor are not able to do their jobs correctly so these clients have to hold their breath a bit to inflate and help the core or the pelvic floor. But if you can't breath....you do not feel safe...this is a feeling of 'oh my God" So the arms don't swing much, and the hands face backwards, eyes down.. Coming from 41 years of yoga, but a biophysics, neurophysiological background....you can just see the loss of connectivity in the walk and the inability of full expression in the yoga. The emotions of the person of course have to change if the body cannot do what it should be able to do, but it was the owner of the body in the normal daily use of it had accidents. The body just does what it suppose to do, protect itself and get on with it. Sky Jumping, and fell badly 2. Surfing accident 3. Landed on my Tail 4. I played rugby, car accidents, fell down stairs ...do I go on!! You Must understand You Are a SUPER Advanced Quadruped You walk as a biped, that is, on two feet but those arms are supposed to swing, those four limbs work as one. This is the same as a dog walking and running, they are useless walking on their hind legs, they must run with all four legs. but our walk and our run is so much more intricate, and that is one reason why we take so long to get up off the ground onto our feet. For four of these people it is hard to pick what the problems are. But there is no lift up, there is a lacking in shifting from side to side,, even rotation is lacking. So we get pain in relation to what is lacking Neck issues, headaches, jaw trouble, eyes, sore feet, poor core.. So find what is not working, and reset then reinstall better patterns Now look, there is me, here I am addressing two specific upgrades I teach that body better patterns. What I can do with the hands and the fingers influences ALL joints All Muscles of the body. Allow the body to downgrade any major jointing and muscular relationship it will impact on the whole body.
