23.01.2022 I've had a couple of soaping disasters over the last few days. A bit tired, not paying attention, music too loud etc has meant that there are more soaps going to the imperfects shelf than I would like. Today is different ... hooray I made these yesterday and they are lovely. Restock of the ever popular Ocean Bar and a new one I am tentatively calling Flora. It smells like a florist shop - floral, leafy, fresh, green and is topped with flowers which have all come from my garden - lavender, calendula and hydrangeas.

Made from shea butter, almond oil, macadamia nut oil, coconut milk and natural Australian clays, they provide everything you need and nothing you don't. They also last and last. 16.01.2022 There are so many things that we have to do everyday... laundry, washing dishes, cleaning, cooking meals, just to keep the wheels turning. I think there is huge value is elevating the everyday things... make a pot of tea and use a lovely cup, clean your home with products that aren't contributing to your environmental toxic load and best of all, wash your hands with lovely soap that leaves your skin feeling clean and nourished and smelling gooooood. It's the little things..

04.01.2022 Wet soap Wednesday. Such a beautiful colour. All I added was a touch of activated charcoal. It combined with the colour of the oils and butters to give me this. Soap alchemy

04.01.2022 So keen to see how this soap turns out. Coloured entirely with alkanet root steeped for days in olive oil. Scented with Kakadu plum. Watch this space for the cut tomorrow.
