Your thoughtfulness and patience, as well as your attention to detail certainly surpassed what could be expected of a Tour Guide. Of particular attention was your personal belief and pride in the Island and its products. ... We felt real privileged to have you as our mentor and driver for our tour. When we told people of what we had seen they could not believe us, especially those who had been there before. Their attitude was that there was not much to see, but we assured them they were wrong. This was because of your intimate knowledge of the Island and the activities upon it. Matthew, kindly give our appreciation to Julie, who ran the Motel, for her breakfasts were really great and she treated us as friends, even though we were only there for 3 days. From stunning coastal scenery, to rolling green pastureland that pr...oduces some of the best paddock-to-plate meat we’ve ever eaten, to calcified forests and the island’s best-kept ‘secrets’ - the kind that only a true local lad would know - he gave us the benefit of his unique insights into his beloved island and what makes it so special. He is only a young man but his life experiences had us all enthralled. It was so inspiring to meet someone who cares passionately about his community and works hard to promote its future.
