25.01.2022 Well November is here and December is coming! We will be back in Oz in Dec and I will commence practicing after a bit of recovery time on January 22. Here is a little photo journal of the Kings, Mauritius October adventures.

24.01.2022 SO WHICH VITAMINS DO I TAKE? Heard about scurvy in the news. Read about it in the article below. Last week I described the connection between vitamins and pain. This week I have followed it with some explanation on what to take and why! READ the article below...... MORE SCARY STUDIES... Just this week I heard of a study that has made a strong link between Autism and vitamin D deficiency in pregnant mothers. A similar finding was when we had our son 18 years ago. Back then they thought that Spina Bifida was genetic, but since then they have figured out that it is caused by a folic acid deficiency (a vitamin)! Science will continue to make links between the vitamins missing from our diet and the diseases we suffer as a nation. If only they hadnt taken the greed driven short cuts with our agriculture!!

24.01.2022 Here are a few highlights of Mauritius for August! Indian weddings, the school Eleisha and Josiah volunteer teaching english at and the local zoo for a day off! (Bessie was a bridesmaid in the wedding, 3 days worth of meals and receptions!)

19.01.2022 Hey everyone back in Oz, here is a little photo gallery of the good work we are engaged in. We are so used to doing the work that it is everyday life now and we dont go taking photos that much. Like I should have some shots of Eleisha and Jos teaching English as a second language with the kids at the local school, or even a shot of the little clinic I have been seeing some patients out of, or some of the little house churches in VERY poor neighbourhoods that we have helped with... We are all well, well past the half way!! Time flies.

06.01.2022 Well we had a near miss with a cyclone last week. It didnt hit us but you can see the amount of fresh water it dumped in the before and after pictures of the bay. Bessie got 2 days off school thanks to the class 2 warning so she was super happy! I learned that this little lizard that greets me most morning is a native Mauritian Gecko and they are endagered. So I am priveleged. Jos is happy that these beautiful bluefin trevally are plentiful in the water behind us. They fight hard too.

06.01.2022 Great day of learning from Sarah Beach and Tim King of Fast and Functional all the way from Australia! We learned some great techniques to help patients suffering from TMJ and chronic pain.

06.01.2022 WOW. It has been a whole month since I posted a photo journal. I have been really busy delivering training to Myos online in Australia, seeing patients here in Mauritius and doing a pile of volunteer work. Trying to keep the balance...

05.01.2022 Our latest adventure - enjoying a traditional Indian wedding. The set up work is continuing here. Hours of Creole language work in the mornings (grasping the language still feels so far away). I have Myotherapy workplace opportunities in several clinics just waiting for the Visa application to process... (waiting). In the meantime I am developing my online training for Myotherapists in Australia that will be released at the end of February. I am spending some evenings meetin...g locals, and helping with some charity groups whilst Eleisha and Josiah have increased the hours they are volunteering at the local school. Bessie is excited because she gets Monday off school - thats good! The reason for the day off is because of the Class 2 tropical cyclone heading our way - thats bad! There is so much ground work to do before I feel like we can make a real difference. Stay tuned. Tim, Eleisha, Jos and Bess.
