19.01.2022 The KRPC 2020 AGM will be held at the KRPC clubrooms on Sunday the 6th Dec 2020 at 8.30 am - prior to the rally. All current, new and old members are very welcome. Please email [email protected] if you would like to attend and/or nominate for a committee position.

18.01.2022 The next KRPC rally will be this Sunday the 4th Oct. If you haven't already, please let us know if you are planning on attending. Please note the KRPC grounds will be IN USE on Wed 7th Oct for the day, for Certificate Testing. Don't forget to save the date for the KRPC ODE 21/22 Nov.

17.01.2022 Please note the KRPC XC is now CLOSED in preparation for the upcoming Albany Horseworld King River Pony Club ODE - - entries open via k-trials - for all pcwa and open pcwa riders. Also the water will be off until Wed - due to a fitting needing replacement -apologies for any inconvenience.

17.01.2022 Xc jump judges wanted - if anyone is able come and be a xc Jj this Sunday at king river pony club , then we would love to have you - no experience necessary - looks like it is going to be a lovely day and the course looks fantastic. 16.01.2022 Fabulous Sept rally today in lovely sunshine - just the way we like it! Thanks to Amanda for organizing. The focus today was on equitation show jumping, plus equitation obstacle course and active riding with accuracy riding. Thankyou to Caitlin and Felicity for the lunch time lecture on correct fitting tack - using super models Nigel and Joe, with team Nigel taking out the win on spot the incorrect tack. Well done to all riders on a great days riding.

16.01.2022 A super rally yesterday under lovely blue skies. A huge thankyou to the very fabulous Kay and Leah for coming to albany to provide specialist coaching in the discipline of vaulting. Leah was able to demonstrate some of her amazing skill, balance and athleticism on the barrel and horse. All the riders at the rally really enjoyed the opportunity to have a go at some of the vaulting moves under their watchful eye. Well done to all the super horses from our club that made lo...vely vaulting ponies. Special thanks to the Kershaws for bringing Teddy to be a super vaulting pony. A big thankyou to our regular fantastic instructors, Karina, Amanda, Michelle, Chris, Belinda, and Bianca putting the riders through their paces for xc, grid work, flat,and certificate theory (when to call the vet and what to have in your first aide kit, parts of the horse, leading the horse and tacking up). Many thanks to Lisa, Carissa, Ruth, Belinda and Sue for the yummy lunch. Thanks to Amanda for all her hard work putting the rally together. Best of luck to our C riders off to sit their C exam at WPPC next weekend and our C* riders off to a C* training camp in Perth tomorrow. Thankyou to all the riders who have put their hand up for the PCWA State Dressage Champs - the team will be out next week. 16.01.2022 Team King River enjoyed their annual camp this weekend as well as the younger riders getting to sit their E and D certificates with all passing - well done! Here are a few photos from the weekend to enjoy! Apologies to the older groups for not getting any exciting snaps of your games and barrel race runs!

16.01.2022 A big thankyou to : CSBP - Wade Anning, Elders Albany, WFT Spreading - Buck Woodham 0427464007 for donation of fertilizer, agronomy services and chemical and to Buck for picking up the fert and lime and donating his spreading services. This should result in a big reduction in weeds in the chester pass road paddock and lots of lovely green grass. Many thanks to these business for their support of KRPC.

15.01.2022 A big thankyou and well done to all of the fabulous competitors at the KRPC GSZ Dressage Day proudly sponsored by The Lower King Store. The weather was super kind and it was a very enjoyable, relaxed day. There were lots of very nice tests today by some experienced combinations and also some new ones, which is great to see. It was also great to see riders from APC, DPC, WPPC and KRPC and our open riders, with really good numbers in the Novice and Prelim tests and tests from... Prep to Advanced. A huge thankyou to the team effort that made this day happen. Karina and Amanda for their super organisation, helped by Kathi, Barb for donating her time and skill to be our very efficient scorer for the day, Belinda with her trusty side kick Ruth providing yummy food for everyone, our super fab photographer Anne Lasini of Rustic Pics, who is always a pleasure to have (she was very relieved we didn't need to get the ambulance for super Mum Ferne running the whole test with Connor), our wonderful Judges Virginia Longley and Heather Carrington Jones - they are also always a pleasure to have and super mower Tom, who does such a fantastic day getting the grounds looking so fabulous. 12.01.2022 Please note there is a pony club clinic being held at king river pony club tomorrow (sun 26th), so the grounds will be in use from 10am - 4.30pm.

10.01.2022 Please note the KRPC rally is tomorrow (sat) and so the grounds will be in use for the day. The rally plan was sent out earlier in the week, and a quick update will go out tonight. We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow.

09.01.2022 A massive thankyou to Amanda and Belinda for putting on a super camp this weekend. It was really great to see all the members having a great time together. We managed to get through a lot, including the 4 phases of a tet - with the swim and run on Sat and then laser shoot and ride on the sunday. A big well done to everyone for having such well behaved ponies in the big group ride. A huge thankyou to Belinda who is the super camp Mum - sleeping over, organising all the yumm...y food, a big thanks also to our camp Dad's and Kristy and Kathi for a great quiz night. A lovely rally today included lots of active riding challenges, show jumping course and some very slick times in the barrel race. Congratulations to our E and D certificate candidates who all passed their exam over the weekend. The riders all demonstrated thorough knowledge of horse care and were well presented. Its lovely to see such passion for learning and riders caring for their ponies correctly and safely.E certificate Millie Stone (Millie was outstanding on her parts of the saddle well done)D Certificate passed by Mikayla, Rhys Amelia and Skye . A fabulous group of riders all looking forward to completing the next certificate being D star as soon as possible. Good luck to Zara who sits her C certificate in November. This caps off our biggest year ever for testing right across all levels. Well done riders and coaches , especially Amanda who has worked so hard to make it all happen this year. Don't forget our ODE coming up in 3 weeks time. Barb has been very busy with her assistants Sammy and Peter, flagging the course, Tom and Sharon have got through a massive amount of mowing, with John and Darren getting the whipper snipping nearly all done, Belinda, Michelle and Kristy managed to get some burning off done finally. We would love some volunteers for this event, especially XC jump judges - it is our clubs main fundraiser, for the year. Our last rally will be the show rally on Sunday the 6th Dec, with the AGM most likely first thing on that day. This includes fancy dress to conclude the day. See more

09.01.2022 A big thanks to our devoted little crew today for a lovely oct rally. Please be aware of the peacocks currently on the grounds - turns out horses aren’t so keen on them. The sand arena is currently locked and unavailable for use until thurs - please do not move any of the equipment set up - this is for certificate testing on wed (the grounds will be in use all wed). 08.01.2022 KRPC ground use members - please note that the Chester Pass paddock is getting sprayed this afternoon (Fri 22/5). Please DO NOT USE this paddock (we will place bollards up to block off) for 2 weeks. Many thanks for your cooperation.

08.01.2022 A really big thankyou to everyone that attended and helped out at the rally today. It was really super to run the full rally following the Canter restrictions, and to see everyone out and about, and how good was the weather! Special thanks to Leah, Rita and Felicity for setting up the jumping grid on Sat, all ready for Sunday. A big thankyou to Amanda who pulled the whole day together. We had a super line up of instructors today including Olympic Eventing Rider and ex KRPC... member Sonja Johnson. Many thanks to our regular super instructors Kristy R, Karina T, Belinda S, Chris L, Amanda P, Mandy R, Michelle E and Leah B. The riders packed a lot into the day including flat, a super grid, XC, and poles. Everyone is working hard on getting through their certificate work and today included Kathi Mc covering parts of the saddle and points of a horse, C* on taking a horses temperature (thanks Panache) Bandaging for the C's and leading. Lunchtime, whilst minus a canteen, was made up for by a very informative talk from Sonja about her experiences flying her horses all over the world. Well done to the riders who did a super job in the afternoon in the JumpX Games (Show jumping, games and XC jumps all in one round) - it was lovely to see the senior riders helping out our junior riders and a great way to finish the day. 04.01.2022 Can you Please let us know if you have found a leather dressage girth on the Krpc grounds this week. The owner would very much like it back.

03.01.2022 Apologies - there is currently no water at Krpc as the pump has died. We will get this fixed ASAP. Please take a bucket and fill from the river as needed.
