25.01.2022 We installed this Phoenix solar hot water split system earlier this week at Bracken Ridge. Youll see the panels sitting right above the tank. With 2 x 2.5m2 panels this makes for a very efficient system.

25.01.2022 Check out our recent Electric hot water installation at Forest Lake. Youll see the old Dux 250 ltr hot water tank spraying water from the seam located at top of the tank. Unfortunately water heaters in this condition are unable to be repaired. So we changed it out with a Thermann tank. Thermann tanks come with a 10 year manufacturers warranty. The owner took the opportunity to upgrade to a 315 ltr tank. Easy to spot the new installation with now insulated pipework!

24.01.2022 Here's an example of some of the repair work we do on a solar hot water systems. This one's a smashed solar hot water collector at Collingwood Park. The owner thinks this could be smashed due to a cricket ball hitting the panel. We assisted the home owner with an insurance claim. In fact, we can assist with all types of insurance claims whether it be accidental damage or hail damage if that's covered under your policy. We carry a range of new, 2nds and used solar hot water collectors to suit various brands and ages of systems.

21.01.2022 This Beasley solar hot water system belonging to our Ferny Hills customer definitely had its day! Its falling apart at the ends and is heavily corroded. And look how dirty those panels are. Would not be very efficient at all!

19.01.2022 One of our recent solar hot water system installations. The Conergy system at the top is the old system and was replaced out with a Phoenix split system at the bottom. A much better quality installation with neater fully insulated pipework and installation bought up to the current standards.

18.01.2022 This is a recent Phoenix solar hot water split system installation completed at Ascot. The 2 x solar hot water collectors in the middle are 2.5m each. So this installation is equipped with 5m2 panels which makes for a very efficient solar system. These are bigger than usual size collectors with most manufacturers only offering 2m collectors. The larger size panels make a huge difference for solar gain. Thats why we use Phoenix systems!

13.01.2022 This is the thermostat and element compartment of a Sun Ray thermosiphon (roof mounted) solar hot water system. As you can see water is spraying out and the booster wasnt working and the tenants getting no hot water. Customer engaged another plumber who told her that the whole system needed replacing. Luckily she got a second opinion and contacted us and we were able to replace the element and thermostat with genuine Sun Ray parts - eliminating the leak and restoring hot water whilst saving the customer about $4K!

09.01.2022 Wow, checkout this tank!. Don't think I've seen this much corrosion on a tank ever. Panels worse for wear too. It was only 7 years and obviously been leaking for a while. It certainly pays to get a quality hot water tank installed. We replaced this system out for an Aestiva system (the very last photo) for our Loganlea customer last week.

09.01.2022 Check out our roof mounted solar hot water installation at Kenmore completed earlier this week! Customer had a leaking 20 year old system so we upgraded them to a Sunrain 300ltr system. The Sunrain tank is a 316 marine grade stainless steel tank and comes with a 10 year tank warranty on the tank and 7 years on collectors. A great investment.

06.01.2022 We recently attended to this Chromagen thermosiphon solar hot water system in Bracken Ridge. If you zoom in on the photo, youll see the cover at the end of the tank has perished. This is the electrical compartment. If you dont get the cover replaced, water from the elements will get into your electrical area and ruin your tank! Its a simple fix and the covers are cheap as. Far cheaper to get on top of it quickly than having to replace your tank!
