25.01.2022 Ohhhhh.... who is eagerly awaiting their limited edition 2020 Hamdemic shirt? The wait is nearly over folks! They have been picked and packed... will be shipped imminently! One of our very own Baconeers grabbed an early edition and was spotted in downtown "Piggenden". Looks like he made a new friend along the way.

25.01.2022 What did baconeers do with their @sunporkfreshfoods bacon box supplies? We want to know! One crazy committee member (with a fairly empty pantry, it must be said) threw this dish together using maple bacon, maple bacon peanuts from @peanutvan, cabbage and celery. That’s it. Nada mas. Two amazing local ingredients. Two dodgy vegetables (her words, not ours ). A shake of salt. Result? Crunchy veg + crispy bacon + peanuts = warm maple bacon nut salad! Or something like that. 09.01.2022 Congratulations to our avocado loving friends over at Bloomin' Beautiful Blackbutt Gateway to the South Burnett Avocado Festival! They were just successful in securing Destination Event State Government funding for their 2021 event. Our events are all volunteer run so getting support like this is such a massive achievement for the committee. Super effort team! COVID-19 smashed plans for this year’s Blackbutt Avocado Festival but organisers have now come up with a bazaar plan in its place. The Top Of The Blackbutt Range Bazaar will be held on the festival grounds at the Blackbutt Rail Trail head on October 4. Head on over to their page to find out more.
