17.01.2022 Evening, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Beth Hansen. I will be taking on the role as Teacher/Director at C&K Kingaroy Community Kindergarten in 2021. I would like to thank Sue and her team for helping me settle into my new role and am looking forward to catching up with our 2021 families. Are you seeking a place for your child in 2021 and would like more information? Please call 07 4162 1187 or email: [email protected] We currently run two groups across... a five day fortnight. Green group attends Monday Tuesday and alternate Wednesdays. Red group attends (alternate) Wednesdays and every Thursday and Friday. Our kindy day begins at 8.30am and ends at 2.30pm each day. Kingaroy Kingaroy provides a play based program which focuses on your child's interests. The children engage in indoor / outdoor play. We are situated at 5 North Street Kingaroy. For families already enrolled you should have recieved your child's stay and play by now. If not can you please email the kindy to let me know. 14.01.2022 A massive shout out to the generosity of local businesses in our community and our wonderful kindy families, we have been able to put together a multi-draw raffle with a total of 14 prizes so far! This means lots of chances to win! We have a few major prizes along with some minor prize packs. Pop in to kindy to take a closer look at the prizes. Happy selling!! (Don’t forget to grab more tickets to sell if you can!) Tickets are also available during kindy hours at the office.

05.01.2022 At kindy we like to keep our daily timetable flexible to allow for uninterrupted productive play which allows the children to focus on what is important to them. As active agents in their own learning our role as educators is to promote engaging and responsive ways to promote play based 'education'. This includes providing uninterrupted play opportunities for the children. During play, children become fully engaged on the task in hand. Our role is to foster children's participation in daily decision-making processes and their contributions to our learning community.

01.01.2022 EVERYONE BELONGS Next week we will be celebrating Australia's Cultural Diversity. Harmony Week is a great opportunity to celebrate our differences. At kindy we will look at where we come from using a world map and celebrate our differences through a variety of activities. Wearing the colour Orange on the day represents Harmony Day. Traditionally, orange signifies social communication and meaningful conversations. It also relates to the freedom of ideas and encouragement of ...mutual respect. Harmony means 'Unity,' at kindy our goal is to demonstrate unity in our work with the children, working, problem solving and sharing our stories with each other. See more
