05.01.2022 Every year the Kingaroy Redants host a Pink Day to raise money and awareness for breast cancer! This year we are looking for sponsors for the A Grade Jersey. The jersey company has kindly agreed to donate the pink jerseys for pink day. As a result the money provided by the sponsor will be donated directly to breast cancer. The A Grade players will be given the opportunity to buy the jerseys at the end of the round and this money will also go to a breast cancer charity! We hav...e two spots available for sponsorship on the jersey! The spots are: the back of the jersey at the top and the back of the jersey at the bottom. We are asking for offers and will provide the sponsorship spots to the highest bidders! Please contact our sponsorship coordinator, Martyn McCracken, to make an offer (Ph: 0468 895 575). All offers should be submitted by COB Friday 9 April 2021. See more

04.01.2022 Hi all, with the AGM this Sunday, here's my report as required. President's Report for 2020 To the season of 2020 and the year that wasn't. We went from starting in February going 100km/h to a flat stop in mid March all due to a thing called Corona. It was in no way an easy call to make, along with the other SB Presidents to call the season off. In hind site, could we have proceeded in some way? Maybe yes, but safer to say no with all the restrictions that we had to abide by.... We did manage some preseason success with the U12s winning the annual Burrum Heads carnival. Well done to the U12 Team, and to the other junior age groups that played that weekend. With our season called off, we had several kids and parents travel to either Toowoomba or Gympie to keep their love of the game alive. Hats off to you all for going the extra mile. Season 2021 - At a Sb level, they/we are determined to get our kids back on the field. So there will be a lot of work that will need to be done, and this is where our wonderful volunteers will need to step up. What restrictions we'll have to abide by, only time will tell. Fingers crossed we can get back to some sort of normality. From when we started with sign on day in February, we were heading for record player numbers in our junior age groups by being able to fill 2 teams in all ages from U6s to U11s. This is a fantastic outlook for our club looking to the future. Although this is great for us, other SB clubs were struggling and how this will impact coming years, only time will tell. Club and grounds development is a constant work in progress. We have been lucky to be successful in securing a couple of grants of late to start this process. One to build a new storage shed to replace the old dressing rooms, so we can realign the playing fields to create 2 full size fields. And the other to replace the outdated kitchen cookers and fryers. This is the behind the scenes work that keeps this club moving forward. So, thank you to Jackie Allery, Allen Christensen and Jess O'Neill for your work on getting these applications in. To all the coaches, managers, FOA's, committee and executive committee of Darren Farmilo, Marty McCracken, Jess O'Neill and Kirsty Cauley, Thank you for stepping up this year to help run this club, even though there was no season. To all our wonderful sponsors, thank you for supporting our club. This club is here for the long term and your sponsorship and support is gratefully appreciated. As for my role within the club next year, I am still deciding. I have enjoyed my role as President over the last 4 years. I know the club is sitting well financially and we have a strong support base. I will still be around the club, in what capacity, we will see. Thank you to all that have helped and supported me along the way, Allen, Jackie, Marty, Kirsty, Ryan, Carl, Darren and many others, I can't Thank You enough. Hope to see you all again next year. Wayne Frohloff President UP THE ANTS
