24.01.2022 Tennis is good to start again now and so with that in mind we are looking to commence a new round of fixtures on the 16th of July. could all players interested in playing in season 2 fixtures Thursday night please contact Julie on 0468598038 to register. In the interim we encourage all players who would like to play socially each Thursday night prior to commencement of fixtures to please turn up at the courts at 6.30 we then can run a match between available players on the night

22.01.2022 Hi everyone just a quick update to inform people who are wanting to hire the courts that we will require you to contact us 48 hrs prior to hiring courts. Also for players commencing fixtures this week if you could all wash your hands and apply sanitiser before play that will be great. Also if at all possible if you could bring correct change of $8 that would also be appreciated. This is only a suggestion to minimise handling etc. sanitiser is available at the courts. 16.01.2022 Semifinals for thursday night tennis is next week the 3rd of December. Team 1 Paul Vievers Slazengers 51 pts will plat team 4 Mick Fishers Dunlops 31 pts. Team 2 Wayne jensens Volleys 47 pts will play Scott Fitzpatricks Wilsons 40 pts. If any reserve players are needed they must be run by the organizing secretary/ committee for approval prior to the match. Good luck to all the participating teams. 15.01.2022 Finals for Tuesday fixtures is on 8 December at 6:30pm. Everyone wanting to play in Tuesday fixtures next year are invited to come for a social hit and meet other players. Our winners ceremony will be held after finals to celebrate an interesting but great year. Hope to see a lot of new players. 15.01.2022 Tuesday night fixtures kicked off again this week. We only have 2 weeks left of the season, but had a great night. Play will start at 6:30pm on Tuesday nights. 14.01.2022 Thursday night fixtures recommencing this Thursday at 7.00 pm all teams have been organised now. We have 5 teams playing this season. Captains have been notified please ensure your team knows to come to tennis this thursday. Dunlops will play Slazengers, Fishers will play Wilson's and the bye team will be Volleys. Contact Julie on 0468598038 for more information. Players are to wash hands on arrival. Hand sanitiser is available and if you are unwell please organise a substitute player. Social distancing is a requirement of play. It will be great to be back playing tennis.

11.01.2022 Based on the latest update from Tennis Queensland Mr B’s will no longer be conducting tennis lesson’s of any nature due to the current situation. While we are d...isappointed to not finish the term we realise this is the safest option for everyone. At this stage we are unsure of when we will be back up and running. 08.01.2022 Public Announcement in regards to CV19: Tuesday and Thursday evening fixtures have been suspended until further notice due to the CO - VID 19 Pandemic. Acting on the advice from the Federal and State Governments, Tennis Queensland and receiving concerns from you the valued players, the safe and responsible thing to do is to stop the fixtures. All committee meetings have been suspended until further notice. ... The Annual General Meeting (AGM) will now be held on Tuesday the 26th May @ 6:45pm. It will be an open-air meeting and social distancing and hygiene will be observed at all times. The AGM is an annual requirement for the Kingaroy and District Tennis Association to remain current with its ‘Incorporated’ status for funding purposes. Votes can be cast by proxy if you wish to remain home. For more details please message this page. Social booking of the tennis courts can still proceed, providing there are no more than four players per court during the time the court is hired. If more people are at this facility for social play then it is expected for all involved to have a spare court in between each social group. We ask you also make sure to apply the 1.5m social distancing rules during your time at the club. Hand washing stations are available in our bathroom facilities. If you have any questions about these changes feel free to contact this page directly. Most importantly if you are feeling unwell please stay home. 08.01.2022 Thursday night tennis fixtures were washed out last week. This weeks bye team will be Fishers. Hopefully it will not be raining this week.

05.01.2022 To all Thursday night players tennis fixtures have been cancelled until further notice. We will surely miss our weekly hit of tennis but have to abide by the regulations of the government at the moment. Stay safe and see you on the other side when the world becomes normal again. 03.01.2022 UPDATE: Due to the evolving situation surrounding CV-19 Tennis QLD has issued the following recommendations. It is based off of these recommendations that effective as of midnight tonight (Saturday 28th March) that the Kingaroy & District Tennis Club will be closed completely for any all activity. This includes all fixtures, coaching, and social court hire. This closure is to help ensure public safety at this time and we appreciate your understanding and support. Due to the nature of this situation we are unsure when we will be back up and running but you will be the first to know when we are back on deck. Stay safe, stay strong and we shall see you all back on court when we come out the other side.
