21.01.2022 So a number of people have been nominated and confirmed for a fight in Alice Springs, which is now on the 30th of May. To name a few there will be Bill, Jake De-vos, Peter and new addition Shauna already matched and ready. There is 2 months until fight night so we will be getting in early and training harder. The next session will be on Saturday at 10:30am so we can put in that extra work.

20.01.2022 Its been awhile since there has been a King Brown update but hopefully this sums up the main events. After long trials and training the NT nationals team chose two of our clubs boxers to enter the November competition, Jake De-Vos and Megan McAuliffe. Although we didn't bring back any medals the NT team had a great experience heading down and meeting many boxers from the other states. Special thanks to Bill Johnstone who helped in preparation of nationals this year and will continue to train those boxers who are aiming to enter next year. After a great season we are shutting down the club until February next year but we hope you all have a good holiday. See you in 2016.

20.01.2022 Fight night in Alice Springs is only 3 weeks away on the 30th of May. We will be training extra days throughout the week for those who have a match and are heading down. The upcoming two weeks will be intense training and the last week will be maintaining ourselves and planning, so keep up the good work.

19.01.2022 For those of you who wanted to know the price of a session. Its $5 each session from 6-8pm. Tuesday is technique and cardio workout night and Thursday is sparring.

Just wanted to give everyone a brief heads up that we will be starting training again this week on Tuesday (today) and Wednesday nights and Saturday morning. For all those who have already registered are welcomed to come back, however there will be a limit to how many people we can accept due to our safety plan. 14.01.2022 Boxing NT is starting strong this new boxing season starting with a fight night this saturday on the 2nd of April. The fights will be held at Ellis Stadium in Marrara at 7pm. I apologise for the lack of responses and posts up till now. Hopefully with the increased activity this year, I'll be posting a lot more often, so stay tuned!

13.01.2022 Great sparring tonight everybody, fights just around the corner in Alice Springs next month so keep up the good work. Unfortunately there will be no training on Saturday as the head coach Gav will be attending a coaches camp in Cairns for the weekend. Training will resume as always on Tuesday afternoon, so stay sharp.

12.01.2022 Hi to all Thank you for reaching out and showing your interest in joining the club. Unfortunately we will not be taking anymore people in. It is near the end of the year with only 2 fights left and we just want to focus on the seniors finishing this year off strong. We are sorry to all that have reached out and we hope you understand. We will be shutting the gym early December for the Christmas break and opening back up in the beginning of February next year. Thanks for the support KB

12.01.2022 Last Saturday King Brown headed down to Alice springs for the first time to fight in the Red Desert Dust Up. We had 6 fighters lined up for a match, 4 of which would be fighting for the first time under our club. Everyone performed magnificently in their fights and the end result was 3 wins and 3 close decision losses for the club. Darcy, pete and Shauna did amazingly well for their first fights and boxed just as planned but received losses. Billy, jake de vos and Malcolm Brown fought dominating fights to even the score and bring back victories for the club. Overall it was a great experience for King Brown and we all enjoyed our time in Alice. A special thanks to Joe Casey and Francis Flordeliza for coming down and helping out.

11.01.2022 What an incredible experience it was to be taught by former Olympian and professional Australian boxer Jamie Pittman last weekend in a two day introductory training camp. Hopefully we can put this to good use in the next fight night.

06.01.2022 Everyone is weighed in and ready to go, we had a good relaxing night last night. It's been good at Alice springs, who have provided us with great hospitality. 16 bouts tonight starting at 6pm and we are ready to rumble.

As we only have one coach, and there are only 4 fights remaining for the year, we would like to focus the attention to the fighters at hand, and finish the season strongly.
