25.01.2022 Yesterday was a special day for all our school readiness kids in the preschool room. They all graduated With such joy and are ready for the new life at big school next year, I would like to say a massive thank you to all the family and friends whom came along to our ceremony to celebrate this special moment. We hope you enjoyed our provided munchies along with cake and the children’s performances they have been practicing for you. * I do have consent from the families of the children in this post and parents.

23.01.2022 Happy Chinese New Year 2020 This year the animal is the year of the rats, this morning the children spent it decorating the centre with some Chinese New Year props that we created together. They became so creative this year with the decorations. Here’s some information on the tradition of this event. ... The traditional Chinese New Year was the most important festival on the calendar. The entire attention of the household was fixed on the celebration. During this time, business life came nearly to a stop. Home and family were the principal focuses. In preparation for the holiday, houses were thoroughly cleaned to rid them of huiqi, or inauspicious breaths, which might have collected during the old year. Cleaning was also meant to appease the gods who would be coming down from heaven to make inspections. Ritual sacrifices of food and paper icons were offered to gods and ancestors. People posted scrolls printed with lucky messages on household gates and set off firecrackers to frighten evil spirits. Elders gave out money to children. In fact, many of the rites carried out during this period were meant to bring good luck to the household and long life to the familyparticularly to the parents. Here’s a video of our decorations

Just wanted to take some time away and thank all the parents/guardians for coming out today for our Easter hat parade and family picnic, we really appreciate having the support of the community around us within our services. Thank you for the families who brought a plate to share we really do appreciate all the effort put into preparing a dish for the picnic. ... Also a massive thank you for the creativity put into the kids Easter hats, they all looked amazing and we just wanted to say thank you so much. Have a lovely weekend, and happy Easter!
