22.01.2022 Denim, Four months.

22.01.2022 Watching the babies eat, is one of my favourite parts of cavy keeping. These cuties are super speedy

20.01.2022 Celery, a trim and lots of cuddles in the caviary this afternoon.

20.01.2022 Today I found I had another bottle of antibiotic, so that was a big relief. I took some photos this afternoon while giving my cavies their medicine. I’m trying to be hopeful but unfortunately I lost another boar, RIP Mercury.

20.01.2022 In preparation for the warmer weather, everyone (aside from two very pregnant sows) has been clippered this week. Even my lovely Sheltie boar Denim.

20.01.2022 I washed Rex today as well. Not sure what to make of his coat at the moment. It seems to have a mind of its own Hopefully it will settle nicely once it gets some length and weight to it.

20.01.2022 I currently have some stock available. Please message me for further information.

19.01.2022 This is siblings, Fairy Queen and Fairy Princess. Their Dam is Fairy Floss and their Sire is Fancy Bear. I have no idea what they’ve done to their chops but they probably need a bath.

19.01.2022 Four new little ones, to love and to hold. One day old. Kinkajou x Fearless.

16.01.2022 Ringo, Four months old.

16.01.2022 Zoltar, One year.

15.01.2022 Time for some young stock update photos. Fox, Oryx, Vex, Jesus, Lovely Heart and Brave Heart. Lovely’s photo was taken before her bath. Brave’s was taken after. I was hoping to show him but he’s been doing some hair dressing in his spare time.

14.01.2022 These two lovely ladies arrived this week. Born to Delara and Denim.

14.01.2022 I thought we were done for the year but discovered this surprise singleton today. He appears happy and healthy and has lots of energy.

14.01.2022 Another young stock update. Rex, Zulu, Kesha, Black Bear, Snuggles, Whisper, Jesus and Equinox.

12.01.2022 Connie, Three months.

10.01.2022 So Fairy Queen had a litter of three. Two Texels and a Sheltie. They’re all boars and now three days old.

10.01.2022 This sweet little face with an incredible personality came to me many years ago, all the way from Victoria. He has been my main stud boar and cherished companion. As he approached his 7th birthday, I knew time wasn’t on our side but still I wept today to find he had crossed the rainbow bridge. Every day with Taung was a blessing. Thank you Eline for sending him to me and entrusting me with his care. I don’t think I’ll ever find another boar as funny and special as Taung

10.01.2022 Meet Ginger, Connie and Denim

09.01.2022 I was in my caviary this morning, admiring Taung's progeny but wishing he was still here with us. Thought I'd share some photos of happier days.

09.01.2022 Introducing Rex, Kesha and Zulu. Kesha had a wobbly start but is getting stronger. They’re currently three days old.

08.01.2022 2020 will hopefully be a wonderful year for my cavies. After much consideration, I have decided to continue on and aim to return to showing this year. Pictured is one of my couples, Peruvians - Delara and Ringo.

08.01.2022 Two out of three of the new hutches are in action. I’m not totally satisfied with the size of the single bays but with no divider, as a double they’re fine. The aim was light and bright with increased air flow and I think I’ve achieved that. My old ones were getting rusty and damp. Also have some plump bellies so fingers crossed for babies on the way.

08.01.2022 It’s been a stressful time. Last night we evacuated. I don’t have any cavies left in coat. Hopefully 2020 will see us back to showing. It’s been a stressful time. Last night we evacuated. I don’t have any cavies left in coat. Hopefully 2020 will see us back to showing.

08.01.2022 Three brothers, Black Bear, Snuggles and Whisper. Enquiries about Whisper welcome.

07.01.2022 Kingdom "Fairy Lalla", one day old, Alpaca sow.

05.01.2022 Bath and comb for Zulu today as well. He’s such a sweet boy.

04.01.2022 Brave Heart is 6 weeks old now and such a pretty boar. I’ve had my eye on him from the day he was born. Can’t wait to see how he grows out.

04.01.2022 At her first show on Sunday Lovely Heart was awarded Reserve Baby in Show and Best Longhair in Show. This was my first time exhibiting an Alpaca, so I’m beyond pleased with these results.

03.01.2022 Banana leaves are here which means lots of happy cavies!

03.01.2022 A little baby boom has happened in the past 48 hours. We welcome Connie, Denim, Fearless, Moonwatcher, Kinkajou, Olingo and Ginger Snap.

02.01.2022 So it’s time for an update. Not long after my last post Sella had a litter. She didn’t seem to be producing milk. The babies failed to thrived and despite supplement feeding, they passed on. A few days later Sella suddenly passed too. Since then, no more losses. Vision had her first litter and the survivor was a lovely Alpaca boar. Fairy Floss also had her first litter. Two sweet little Texel sows. Lucy’s Peruvian babies Delara and Zoltar (pictured) are growing and thriving. So hopefully it’s onwards and upwards from here. Fingers crossed

01.01.2022 this little guy, Zulu. So handsome and he has the sweetest temperament ever.

01.01.2022 Wulfram is only 9 weeks old but he’s such a big fluffy butt. He was a singleton, so he was born big and then got all the milk to himself as well. I just love watching him grow.

01.01.2022 Time for some sweep wraps. Little Lovely Heart is growing out nicely.
