She sustained a leg injury which required hospitalisation, and she was really sad to be missing Easter Sunday, but God turned it around for good! "Guess what... I had Easter morning service in my room. First, one nurse joined, then two more, and soon all four of us were worshipping JESUS in the middle of the hospital!!! and HE didn...'t stop there. As they couldn't stay for long while on duty, I gave them the link. They forwarded it to the other patients, and I started hearing people worshipping along with our online service down the corridors of the hospital! God sent a team of people who would love and praise Him with me! I'm stirred up and believing for all the lost souls to come home! God is moving." Amen! 25.01.2022 I knew my Greenhouse fees was overdue and I started getting really stressed because I didn’t have the funds. I decided to pray and fast for a financial breakthrough and trust God for a way to pay my fees. The very night before I planned to start my fast, someone reached out and covered the rest of my fees! 19.01.2022 "Whilst at work, I received the news that my mom got tested positive for Covid-19 after she had gone back to Sabah to visit my grandma in hospital who recently had a stroke. I cried out to God in prayer and declared ‘no weapon formed against her shall prosper’. I gained strength from God’s Word as I clearly felt Him say, ‘I am guarding your mom’. My dad, also grieving from hearing the news, had his own encounter with God and declared with faith that my mom is free from ...Covid-19. Having been in direct contact with my mom, our family members were also tested but all our results came back negative, including my grandma who was discharged from the hospital. As the days passed, the hospital in Sabah conducted a 3rd and 4th test on my mom and it is now confirmed that she is free from Covid-19 and will be discharged today! We want to thank our connect leaders, pastors, and friends who constantly prayed for my mom’s healing! 19.01.2022 "Greenhouse 2020 was a life-changing decision. By being obedient and surrendering my decisions to him, God honoured my yes. He provided, and He worked through all that was impossible. Through ups and downs, He sailed me through, He realigned my perspectives, He restored my dreams. 16.01.2022 "Whenever I dream about water, I think of it as a problem. However I had a dream about a storm and a building, where our Greenhouse classes were held, swaying undamaged on top of the water. This year has been an unforgettable year, each person having their own story during the pandemic. Being a community intern, I had to set aside my emotions to reach out to people and pray effectively. It was hard as I was battling through a financial crisis in my family.... But when you persevere and trust God, obeying what He’s called you to do, He is faithful. Two weeks into Movement Control Order, I received a financial breakthrough. Unexpected visitors provided for our family and someone paid the balance of my fees. The bank also called, converting our debts into relief so we were able to pay for my husband's treatment. I realised my dream was about God being in control of everything and Greenhouse was the bridge for me to see that. 13.01.2022 Before all of this, I had walked away from God for almost four years. I was struggling through brokenness, insecurities and at times, depression, and soon realised that I’d lost myself. I didn't know who I was anymore. In May 2019, I decided to come back to God and planted myself in Kingdomcity. Then, I heard about Kingdomcity Greenhouse. Just considering it felt crazy, because I definitely didn't have the money and was entering my final year of full-time university. But I w...as curious to know God deeper, and had a burning desire to follow Him all my life. In faith, I decided to just sign up. Ready, fire, aim! During one of our first Encounter sessions, I felt God speak to me, saying "You are where you are meant to be" and that was what I held onto for the journey. And truly, my life has been changed. I met some of the most amazing people, filled with a level of real love, care and wisdom that I never thought possible. For the hardest people to love, they show genuine care. For those who are broken, they lovingly point them to God instead of a temporary solution. When I mess up, they show me grace. I can't tell you the number of times the only response I could muster in conversations was silent awe. Being in that atmosphere of faith, I started believing that for myself also. Every broken piece of my life that I brought to God, He healed. In the middle of the night when I felt hopeless, He was there. I am a Son to a Father who loves unendingly! This is #mygreenhousestory. 12.01.2022 "#TESTIMONY "During Pastor @tyleryin's message in Encounter, I felt God prompt me to open the 'door' that was filled with things I suppressed from my childhood. I asked God to work in me and in that moment, He showed me that there was such a deep pain in my heart Pain hidden for so long that I‘d long forgotten what it was even about. And in His presence, I was able to process, feel and cry out all the pain. As I finally faced my emotions, I felt a sense of RELEASE and PEACE... flowing in at the same time. The words ""You are made new again"" kept repeating in my mind. 12.01.2022 #TESTIMONY I received a word for a friend as I was going through the Lectio Prayer App devotional which we do as part of the Spirit-led Leadership classes. It was Psalm 57:1, I look to you for protection. I will hide beneath the shadow of your wings until the danger passes by." For the past week, I recited these words as a prayer over her and her family who were recovering from an illness. And then, the Lord made this verse so personal for me and my own family! Someone atte...mpted to break into our home in the early hours of the morning one day - they even pushed through one of the door locks. Then for some reason, they changed their minds and left. Danger came and He literally made it pass over us. This month, I tried applying for government support. Not only did I get approval for it, but they also funded me with the maximum amount possible and it was the EXACT AMOUNT I needed to pay off the remainder of my Greenhouse fees! I also recently got offered a full-time position with the company that I was worki...ng for part-time, even though I was very new to the role and the salary I’m now getting is also the exact amount I was praying for to sustain my daily needs. 04.01.2022 "I applied for Greenhouse knowing that God had called me to do it this year, while continuing my double degree in Nursing and Midwifery. As the degree requires 480 hours of practical work every semester, I found myself doubting how I could juggle the two. The rostering is pretty much "take what you're given and make it work", so I started mentally preparing myself to be present and faithful with both commitments. As Greenhouse started, I received prayer at the connect I lead ...about my situation. The very next day, I received an email saying that the hospital I would be placed in for the year APPROVED my request for Wednesdays and Sundays off for the ENTIRE 6 week placement!
