22.01.2022 What Happened? By Indi Leigh Are you faced with a situation that has caught you by surprise? Are you sitting there wondering what am I going to do now? You where moving along on the railway of life and things seemed to be running nice and smoothly, but now all of a sudden, things seem to have gone off track. You can’t even see the way ahead; all you can see is an ocean of impossibility. Sometimes life takes us by surprise, but it is in these moments that we can either learn t...o sink, swim or walk on water. We have the choice to panic and give into fear, to do what the world says is a logical response to the end of the road, maybe in this instance that might be to get a boat or we can do something which is out of the box and calls for courage. Will you be someone who when the world says give up, you say, I am going to learn to dance on the sea of impossibility, for I am more than an overcomer and no weapon formed against me will prosper. I am able to do all things, through him who gives me strength and so I will not be held back by something that was never made to hold me back. There is just something so majestic about the mist on a crisp winter’s morning, when, there is even a sense of excitement in the air, as you see that there is a new day about to rise. 14.01.2022 Beauty Amidst the Darkness, by Indi Leigh Are you feeling like the world is weighing you down? Does life seem to have sucked the life out of you and all you see is darkness? Ahh, I hear you sometimes it can feel as though all there is, is the dark and nothing left but black. But I don’t see any truth in that. Sure, the situation might say one thing, but is that what truth says about the situation. Maybe it is time to listen to the truth, which shows that no amount of darkness... will ever overcome light. Light will always break through the darkness. When you feel like its about to storm, remember the light is behind that darkness and it won’t be held back for long, because light cannot be stopped. Even more than the natural light, is the one who brings hope to a hopeless world, the one who is the Light of the world, Jesus. You can cling to him and you will never be lost in the darkness. 13.01.2022 Why do I have this? Mm, good question. Sometimes we keep things that really have no purpose at all. Recently we moved house and in the process, I found a box that had just these pair of shoes in them. I had them many years ago, and they were now too small and even broken at the heal, yet I had a whole good plastic box taken up, just for them. Why???? To be honest I cannot answer that. Maybe some sentimental reason, yet they were not even bought for a special occasion and th...ey didn't have any specific memories attached to them. I wonder how many of us are holding on to stuff like this, whether physically or mentally and emotionally? Is it time to have a clean out and get rid of some junk, so you have free hands to receive and help others up with? 07.01.2022 Sunset or Sunrise, by Indi Leigh Are you sitting there thinking that this beautiful sunrise, looks much like a sunset? What makes you think that the sun is setting when it is actually rising? How often do we look at an opportunity and see it as something that is finished, a lost cause, something that will never happen, that has already had its end? Who says it is over? Maybe it is time, to take a fresh look at the picture and see the sun is not setting, life is not ending, it...’s a new day, it’s a new beginning. It is time to dust of the dreams you put on hold, to pick up the stuff you thought would never happen and go again. It is not time to lay your head down and go to sleep, it is time to run with new vigour and life. You were not made to see things as sunsets, but as sunrises. 06.01.2022 It Was Never Made to Stop You, By Indi Leigh Do you sometimes wonder, why is this seeming obstacle in such an out of the way place? Could it be that the problem is seeing the fence in the ocean, as an obstacle, as something designed to stop you, rather than as something meant to keep you safe, to guide you to where you need to be? Could it be that this thing that you are experiencing now, is in fact preparing you and equipping you for your future. What if instead of seeing it... as something that is going to stop you, you saw it as something that is going to make you, mould you and refine you? This does not mean that you will become the bad thing, or that you follow along with what whatever the trend is, but that for every hardship we face there is an opportunity to be thankful, there is a chance to be grateful for the one who never changes, who always is there to guide us; the Holy Spirit. Without this guide, we would be lost at sea and going into waters shallow that we should never go. If we spend all our time worrying about what might happen, could happen or may happen, we will miss out on the opportunity to enjoy the now season that we are in. We will miss out on enjoying the beauty of life, the sights, the smells, the sounds. We will miss seeing the beautiful handiwork of our creator. We only have one life, so live in the moment. Yes, live wit...h a dream, a vision, a goal for the future, but the bible tells us that God’s plans for us, are for good, so if your view of the future is not that, then you need to trade it for the truth and enjoy the moment you have now and enjoy the fact that there is something ahead to look forward to, for his mercies are new every day. 02.01.2022 From Another Angle, By Indi Leigh Have you ever looked at a scene and thought, I am sure I have seen this before? It look so familiar, it feels like you are just going through the motions and doing what has to be done, to just get by. Take a look again, sure it is similar to what went before, but there are some very different aspects to this picture, than what you have seen before. One very significant thing about this picture is that it has light in it. No matter where we go..., we can know that the light of the world is there, He is available to all who will call upon the name of Jesus. Don’t let last year’s experiences or yesterday’s disappointments leave you feeling defeated and seeing today through the lenses of your hurts.
