Knowledge and expertise can be shared so new efforts are strengthened and the same mistakes don’t have to be made.

24.01.2022 Amazing effort by the team from the Pastoral Ministries Catholic Diocese of Maitland - Newcastle. Last Friday they spent 3hrs delivering flyers for Hello Hunter on what was an incredibly hot and humid day. Well done and thank you!!!

21.01.2022 Great to have the official opening of hello hunter today at YWAM with Lord Mayor Nuatali Nelmes. So proud of our team pictured today, in their support of Rick, ...Maria and Hello Hunter. Hello Hunter is a church regional response to Covid, where we will be receiving calls to the call centre at YWAM. Isolated Hunter peeps will be able to resource referrals, a friendly phone call, deliveries or prayer. We have initiated a successful pilot programme for Hello Hunter over the last two months. This has been in partnership with meals on wheels and their have a chat programme. We’ve chatted weekly with around 17 folks from our immediate neighbourhood, to help them break isolation. One of these precious souls commented that the call one week was the only external conversation they’d had that week apart from talking to the physio. We look forward to what the next months bring :)
