25.01.2022 Prior to Christmas our Molten Zinc tanks were packed into their custom made casings to be sent to Jakarta & Singapore in order to carry out a kettle change and kettle repairs. Take a look at the vessels arriving on site and the kettle change!

We dont often blow our own trumpet, but with news like this the quiet achievers feel the necessity to share. Kingfield Equipment gears up customer to galvanize 250,000 (+) tonnes p.a. commencing now after only a 9 month plant build. Working closely with our customer from the beginning of last December we have assisted our customer in achieving the required monthly tonnage rate which equates to some galvanizers their annual production tonnage. Our furnace systems are exceeding customers expectations with savings of 20% gas consumption, 60% increase in production all with reduced working hours, our customers directors, factory manager and production staff cannot be more impressed with the audited performance and results. This galvanizing facility is now not only South East Asias largest single output site but arguably the highest output plant in the world. More photos to follow!

16.01.2022 First ever Hot Dip Galvanizing Plant installed and commissioned in Padang- West Sumatra

16.01.2022 Another test run is made on our most recent reclaimer to be made. Being the pioneer of the 1st Zinc Ash Reclaimer World Wide all equipment shipped from our factory in Melbourne, Australia is tested to ensure efficiency and is "ready to use" as soon as it arrives on site. Our 2 test runs provided 220kgs each of reclaimed zinc using approx 400kgs of ash.

Followed by the installation and commissioning of plant 4 at IIL Karachi, great team effort all being controlled online from Melbourne. The next installation and commissioning of a 630 tonne kettle in SEA will be completed in November, good luck to the installation teams in the coming 6 weeks

08.01.2022 A busy start to February! 2/6 of our Zinc Reclaimers have arrived to our work shop from our manufacturing factory to now be fitted out to meet the latest Australian Standards. A design review means a single man use at all stages of the process.

07.01.2022 Kingfield Equipment would like to congratulate Kingfield Galvanizing on being ranked 70th in the Financial Reviews Most innovative Companies list. Kingfield Equipment supplied our State of the Art Stealth 6 Burner Combustion Heating System , the most efficient and economical furnace system with a capability of producing 20 metric tonnes per hour. Hot Flue Gas emissions from the furnace were used in our Air to Water exchange system providing hot water to heat the Pre-treatment plant reducing the requirement for auxiliary gas heaters to zero and of course zero emissions. 07.01.2022 Recent works undertaken for our client has seen a full furnace upgrade to replace their existing furnace components. Older galvanizing plants without fume collection equipment means for high corrosion rates, debris build up on combustion equipment and control valve seizure's. All in which combine for poor combustion affecting furnace efficiency, but furthermore production and downtime. That equates approximately to: 1,350 million metric tonnes of galvanized steel per year.... Expenditure of $253 million (AUD) of procured zinc per year. An average / equivalent of a volume change of zinc in each kettle 3-times per year. 01.01.2022 The first kettle pump and swap out for 2018 has produced a busy start to January for the KE team. We were fortunate enough to assist Melbournes biggest galvanizer- GB Galvanizing in the replacement of their galvanizing kettle and take out modifications on their furnace.
