25.01.2022 Started commissioning the brand new beneteau 45. We will be fitting the keel, antifouling the hull and assembling deck fittings ready for the new customer.



25.01.2022 Today we completed working on Serenity VI A few weeks ago the hull was severely damaged after colliding with a channel marker on the Broadwater. After extensive repairs of the structural laminate, fairing, a full respray of the port side and a new teak rail, the boat went back in the water on Wednesday. Thanks to All Spray Marine for painting the boat we couldnt be happier with the final product !

23.01.2022 Kingfisher 50 ‘Sundaze’ back in the water after a weeks worth of work. We installed a new stern thruster and aqualuma underwater lights, re-sealed and polished the flybridge. Two coats of antifoul and propspeed was applied. Job done



22.01.2022 45ft Cat Outremer launched today after some underwater fibreglass repairs and a fresh coat of anti-foul. The shafts and propellers were also painted with propspeed.

19.01.2022 Today our team replaced a leaking window on a beneteau 47. We replaced it with a new Perspex sheet cut to size, sealed off with @fixtechsuperiorbonding @ Runaway Bay Marina



18.01.2022 Over the past few days we have worked on this 40 sea ray Meant 2 B after it hit a jetty. The photos below shows some of the steps it took to repair the damaged hull.

15.01.2022 Today the Rio 40 went back in the water after 2 weeks of lengthily osmosis repairs under the water line. We applied new antifoul and prop speed on the props and shafts.

12.01.2022 Recently we have been hard at work repairing this cat which had damage due to hitting a marker. After removing the damaged section we discovered rot in the main forward crossbeam. The rotten timber was replaced then glassed over and faired. It was finished with a rolled gel coat finish.



12.01.2022 Stepping the mast on our 1979 Dragon after a few coats of oil. Finally back in the water tomorrow after nearly three years sitting on a trailer under a cover.

10.01.2022 Bunker 1 lifted back into the water today after 3 weeks of work. Heaps of little things fixed on this boat recently. Shes looking shiny after being polished!! Check out the before and after pictures.

10.01.2022 Kingfisher 56’ back in the water today after installing a new stern thruster and generator exhaust. Fun Fact This Kingfisher 56’ was originally built in 2003 as a 50’ and in 2010 we cut and extended the hull by 6’. Our team manufactured and installed a larger hardtop over the cockpit. The original open flybridge was swapped with larger enclosed design.

08.01.2022 Today the keel and rudder for the beneteau 45 were bolted on and is now ready for two coats of primer and two coats of antifoul on the hull

06.01.2022 Another happy customer left the Boat Works today with their brand new beneteau 45. After a detailed clean of the entire boat, the mast was lifted onto the deck today and assembled ready for sailing.

04.01.2022 Last week we launched our 1984 Dragon after 3 years sitting on a trailer in storage at The Boat Works Gold Coast. Back in the water for some sailing over the summer months.

03.01.2022 Kingfisher 54 Bunker 1 pulled out of the water yesterday for some much needed work after years of not being used. Full detail interior and exterior, antifoul, propspeed, engine and generator serviced and new upholstery just to name a few jobs from an extensive list.
