You'll need to pollinate the flowers manually with a toothpick, but this tall growing vine-like orchid can provide you with genuine vanilla beans. Due to this fact, purchasing this orchid is very easy to justify to your non-orchid growing spouse. It's actually a food crop, and therefore counts as being part of the vegetable garden.
