24.01.2022 This morning our ‘Butterflies room’ got started on the planting of our first vegetable garden. All the children joined in and engaged in helping to plant the potatoes. Kylie then covered them over in soil. The children learnt all about growing potatoes and why we are doing this, we hope we have some new potatoes to pull soon :) The children are excited and cannot wait to do our big herb and vegetable garden next, and we are just as excited

17.01.2022 What a great day we had today. We started with some delicious choc chip hot cross buns for morning tea followed by washing out hands and having cuddles with 'Thumpa' Kylies bunny rabbit The children all enjoyed giving thumpa cuddles, patting and feeding him. We hope you all have an amazing Easter long weekend and indulge in lots of chocolate!!! ... We will see you back at the centre on Tuesday!

13.01.2022 PYJAMA DAY! We will be Celebrating 'National Pyjama Day' this year from 14th - 19th July 2019! National Pyjama Day is all about wearing your PJ's to daycare, and spreading awareness, as well as collecting donations, which will go to helping the lives of children in Foster Care.

12.01.2022 We are very excited as this week we launched the use of Storypark at the centre. By now, most of our parents should have received an email invite to connect to their childs account. Families can also invite other family members to view their child's account. We hope families love getting more updates about their child's day, and we can use parent comments and suggestions to futher their child's learning. There is so many features that we are still becoming familar with but we hope you enjoy using it as much as we do :)

10.01.2022 Kinectic sand is a sand like substance. Its moulds easy in childrens hands, but also is free flowing. Its a hands on material, so helps with developing fine motor skills. The children love getting creative with kinetic sand.

10.01.2022 The children are having a great time this afternoon socialising with siblings and children from the other rooms. The children are showing a strong sense of social and emotional skills, interacting verbally and nonverbally between one another. The kindy children are enjoying engaging with the babies and toddlers by following them and riding in front of them on the balance bikes - the Kindy children have great balance skills and have learnt how to master the balance bikes. 02.01.2022 A big WELCOME to our newest member of the kingfisher family, Claire =) Many of you would of seen Claire around the centre previously when used as relief. Claire will be at the centre most days and will mainly be situated in the Toddlers and Kindy rooms and will be working as a certificate 3 =)

02.01.2022 Water play is a fun activity and also educational. It helps children develop eye-hand coordination and use math and science concepts. It also enhances social skills and encourages cooperation as they all play as a group around the water.
