This temporary measure is to protect the vulnerable in our community - the health and wellbeing of my clients, my family and the King Island community are my highest priority. With limited testing currently available in Australia, we do not accurately know how far the virus has spread. We know that... transmission is rapidly increasing throughout the world, from known contact with an infected person, but more concerning, through community transmission from unknown sources. We also now know that many people will not show signs of being sick, but can still spread the virus to others. I believe the best chance of protecting our community involves taking precautionary measures, like social distancing. My household has implemented this practice, so if youd like to catch up, please give us a call rather than dropping by. It is my sincere hope that with advances in treatment/vaccines and wider availability of testing for COVID-19, that I will be able to safely return to work in the near future.
