17.01.2022 26 March 2020 Good Morning King Islanders, Currie Licensed Post Office and King Island News agency are considered an essential service and as such will remain open. In order for us to continue to provide a consistent and best practice service to all King Islanders we will be altering our opening hours to... 11am to 5pm Monday to Friday 10am to 1pm on Saturday. This change will allow us to process all mail, parcels, newspapers and magazines prior to opening and reduce the number of trips required by our customers to collect essential items. We will be delivering as many ordered papers and magazines as possible via PO Box, Road Side Delivery and Mail Delivery and either adding these to your existing accounts or creating a new account that can be paid at the end of the month. We are still providing all our regular services: Cash Withdrawals Bill Payments Western Union Gift and Cards Sales Post, Parcel and Stamp sales We do prefer payment by card but understand that this is not possible for everyone and will accept payment by cash and bill payments by cheque. During your time in the shop please use the provided hand sanitizer prior to entry, observe the social distancing protocols of 1.5m (yellow taped lines on the floor) and lets all keep our sense of humour. Thanks to everyone for continuing to support our business as we try and keep both our staff and customers safe and well.
