Please see one of our friendly team members at the front door (like smiley Emily in this photo) and they will take your childs temperature before taking them to the room for you. Always remember to encourage your children as well as yourself to use the hand sanitiser provided and to maintain a 1.5 metre distance from those around you

01.01.2022 Tomorrow is KingKids Berwicks annual rainbow dress up day Why do we dress up in rainbow colours once a year? Well we do this to remember Andy King and his chosen charity, Zaidees Rainbow Foundation.... Who is Andy King? Andy King and his wife Jo King are the people that created the KingKids childcare centres that we know and love. Sadly, a couple of months after the third centre had opened in Rowville, Andy passed away. We still take time to reflect and remember the great man that Andy was What is Zaidees Rainbow Foundation? Zaidees Rainbow Foundation is a charity that was set up as a way for people to become aware if the significance of organ and tissue donation. Zaidee was a girl that passed away at the age of 7 due to a burst blood vessel in he brain. Zaidee was registered as an organ and tissue donor before the time of her death, meaning that she had saved and improved a further 7 lives We will have a donation tin at reception if you wish to donate to the foundation. Alternatively, you can head directly to the website to find out more information and donate directly to the charity at the below link: www.zaidee.org

01.01.2022 Did you remember your face mask when you dropped off and collected your children? We are are so proud to see how many families were wearing their face masks on the first offical day of the new law to wear a mask when out in public While team members working directly with children are exempt from wearing a mask, we are still giving the team that choice if they would like to wear one in the rooms with the children. All other areas of our centre, our team will be wearing mask...s. This includes the office for myself and Naomi, the kitchen for Chantelle and Skye and any other common areas such as the foyer when greeting families in the morning/afternoon. Children under the age of 12 are also exempt from the rule of wearing masks but if a child would like to make the choice to wear one, that is more than ok! (no child under the age of 2 should be wearing a mask at all) While we know it may be a bit annoying to remember your mask between the car and the front door of the centre, our team will be there to give you a reminder if you forget your mask. We thank everyone for working with us and taking on all the new changes so well. The KingKids team and the families who bring their children to the centre are all so resilient and we couldnt be prouder

01.01.2022 We had some very happy (and not so happy) children eager to show off their rainbows for rainbow day
