24.01.2022 FRESH FRESH FRESH APPLES - BLUEBERRIES - HONEY Likely to be our last fresh blueberries for the season at Whittlesea market today. ... Also introducing our first pickings of uncertified organically grown apples, old school varieties fresh of the tree. Excited to say we've now got a permanent spot at Whittlesea market. We've had such a great season this year and managed to put alot of stock in the freezer which we'll be selling at markets throughout the year until next season begins again. Hopefully see you today 8am-1pm

24.01.2022 We're in Yarraville again tomorrow preparing for the WeFo Slowfood market Saturday where we'll be selling our frozen blue and black berries and related products. The blueberries are on track for a great January/February harvest. Our chickens that fertilize our crop are laying and we have an abundance of eggs. We use our poultry to help maintain the blueberry plants so if you are interested in some genuine free range pampered chicken's eggs and are within 5km of us in Yarraville I can arrange contactless delivery or pick up tomorrow or Saturday afternoon pick up only. $7/doz. Approx 6/7 doz available.

24.01.2022 HONEY 3013 Delicious light honey harvested from my Yarraville hives. Collect from Yarraville tomorrow (Friday) 530-7pm or Sunday 6-7pm.... I'll also bring some to Whittlesea market on Monday. I'm also looking for some host families in Yarraville for my bees in Kinglake for the winter. They've done an amazing job in pollinating our berries and we are currently picking a record crop as a result. The bees however don't enjoy our winters as they are cold and wet and would much rather hibernate in the city where the flowers are abundant and diverse. If you think you have a space in your garden that's suitable and are interested in hosting a hive for the winter please get in touch. Your hospitality will be rewarded with some honey and berries

24.01.2022 Unfortunately our season of fresh blueberries has come to an end. The unprecedented hot weather has ripened the berries much faster than we anticipated shortening the season somewhat. We have a couple more larger orders to fill this week after which the pickers will finish up. They have done an amazing job in at times extreme conditions so a big thank you to Simon and Juliane for their hard work persevering our incredibly hot summer. Apologies to those that were hop...ing to get some more fresh berries. On the positive side due to the speed with which we've had to harvast our berries we've managed to build up a nice stock of equally delicious frozen berries which will be available throughout the year on request. I'll post details of those in the near future. To all of you that have bought berries from us either from home or at markets thank you for supporting us with our passion to provide the freshest and tastiest berries in an environmentally ethical fashion.
