25.01.2022 We walked in the door just after 1am this morning, as we attended our first shows this weekend since 14/10/2017 and Miss Morgan (Aust Ch Triplefun Memphis Belle) didnt let us down. 2 x Best Exhibit in Group 1 x Best in Show 4th 1 x Runner Up Best in Show... To say we are thrilled is an understatement, we are just so proud of her!

19.01.2022 As bizarre as this sounds, when a dog growls it is a good sign, the dog is warning you that it's not happy for any number of reasons. If you reprimand it for growling, it could, on an occasion in the future bite without any warning because you have trained it not to growl. If your dog is growling remove it from the situation it is in.

15.01.2022 Yayyy, can't believe it has finally happened! Our new Cattery is finished. It's taken a while but we wanted it to be the best possible accommodation for our feline guests. Each cat has it's own individual inside/outside area Both inside and outside has three levels for the cat to climb and explore.... It is air conditioned and heated. $20 per cat per night We have availability for Christmas I will be posting photos soon.

A member of my own family recently purchased a breed (on a whim with little forethought) that is not suitable for, and was always going to have trouble fitting in with their lifestyle. We see this a lot with working breeds i.e. Kelpies and Border Collies that come to stay with us, their owners wonder why they are climbing fences and destroying their yards when not given the correct amount of exercise and mental stimulation.

12.01.2022 Doug and I are registered breeders, Doug forty years (Dobermanns, English Pointers and Fox Terriers), myself thirty five years (Jack Russell Terriers and Fox Terriers). Please dont support this bill in the current format! As a registered breeders, we detest puppy farming and breeding of non-health tested dogs. However, please read the fine print. This legislation will only legitimise puppy farming (any puppy farmer can obtain a license), and hurt home based registered ethical breeders of pedigree dogs (where councils will not allow a license). Puppies should be raised in the home. Please dont be caught by the catchy title, puppy farming is terrible, but this bill does nothing to actually stop it

12.01.2022 Exciting times here at King Park Kennels, our new kennel block passed council inspection last week, and the icing on the cake was the lovely comment made by the rangers on their report.

09.01.2022 What a way to start the week, our best friend Sabi has come back to visit us after what seems like a very long time! Even better her new brother Finn is here as well, it's just fantastic to see them we have missed her so much.

08.01.2022 We finally managed to get to a dog show yesterday, we used to show regularly but life here at the kennels has become much busier so we don't go as often. We were absolutely thrilled when Miss Morgan our Fox Terrier (Australian Champion Triplefun Memphis Belle) won Best in Show!

07.01.2022 Louie, one of our first guests in our cattery has settled in like a dream. He is out in his outside play area most mornings enjoying the cool before the heat arrives.

07.01.2022 We have been a longtime supporter of this program and were actually foster carers for GAP at one time. This breed is very underrated, Greyhounds make fantastic pets and are suitable for young families through to older people wanting a gentle companion that will require little exercise.

05.01.2022 Well it's finally happened!!! After 4 years of planning and what seems like eons of time spent negotiating with Gosnells Council (not fun trust me!) the trucks arrived this week to start our new kennel block.

Puppy pre school is fantastic, this is another step in helping to develop your young dog into a well adjusted canine citizen. We are happy to pick up and drop off (to Ambre) using our Pet Taxi if you need, just give us a call.

Such a small amount of money can make a huge difference and save the lives of many dogs that would be used for the live meat trade. It is our dream to one day visit this facility. We have taken the front doors off to get a better photo, they are completely enclosed in mesh and are escape proof don't worry
