Reporting to the venue manager, we have an outstanding opportunity for a proactive, driven and hands on events coordinator to drive the execution and sale of events and functions at our Kingpin Harbourside venue! This role will involve: Hands on management and execution of events and functions, including but not limited to local groups, corporates & birthday parties including organisation, preparation, delivery & post event care Pro-actively increase sales and drive repeat business of events and functions Work closely with your managers to ensure operational and food and beverage compliance and efficiency within regulatory and legislative guidelines Controlling operational and wage costs of events through effective resource & team management Effective merchandising across all areas of the business, ensuring there is adequate stock on hand to meet business demand So if you have Minimum 3 years’ experience with food and beverage, functions and/or corporate events Experience in a sales focused role would be preferred Proven guest focus with the ability to provide solutions and ensure the guest always comes first Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver excellent service levels under pressure and within tight timeframes Administrative experience including use of a booking engine or CRM Availability to work nights and weekends, Wednesday to Sunday We will offer you a rewarding and collaborative work environment, training and career opportunities and excellent team discounts across our brands!
