14.01.2022 KEEP WALKING WITH THE SHEPHERD. Even though it seems gloomy and dark and we cannot see the end of the tunnel, just know we do not walk by sight but have the fa...ith that so long as you hold on to the Shepherds hand, His staff and rod gives us directions, clarifications and assurance that He knows where He is taking us to. He is leading us where our trust is without borders, making our faith stronger in His presence as we KEEP WALKING. The church has had to make changes and plans for this season, but how awesome it is that the church is able to continually make the GOSPEL relevant to the lost. We bring the church out of the four walls and into the community, where we will have a bigger audience of people who need to hear the gospel. It is for the church to realize the gospel is not just for us, but it is for us to expand and proclaim out into the marketplace in this crucial season. It is a SEASON where God is DOING A NEW THING and as we see, and embrace rather than afraid, we see the TOOLS and PLATFORMS that God is giving us for expansion of Kingdom. WE have not restricted or downsized, we are ENLARGING our tents, we are EXPANDING the pegs, and keep STRETCHING and put down the pegs as we DECLARE OUR NATIONS FOR GOD. Time for the IT specialists, media crew in the church to take your place, own your anointing and take the gospel globally into the community. 08.01.2022 In the midst of a ‘crisis’ I believe God creates opportunities for us. ‘Crisis’ to man’s perspective, but thru the Father’s eyes, it is a window of new opportu...nity. In our dark moments, we feel ashamed, neglected, unloved, lonely, frustrated,lose hope, lose vision and we tend to focus on the crisis instead of looking beyond and see the window of blessing God has for you. When there is natural disaster that destroys much of a city or location, when rebuilding begins you always hear the phrase ‘NEW NORM’ - NEW BEGINNING, NEW SEASON, NEW LEVEL Sometimes it takes a crisis to bring about the NEW SEASON that GOD desires for us. It gets our undivided attention because you have no choice but to trust in God! An earthquake brings down high level buildings and makes way for NEW buildings that are stronger and will last. A tsunami clears out all the trash, gets rid of all the old, the strongholds and rebuilding brings NEW landscape, NEW buildings.... 05.01.2022 Let love of the brethren continue (Hebrews 13:1). Christianity’s primary moral standard is love, especially for fellow believers. Love of other believers is a natural outflow of the Christian life and should be a normal part of fellowship within the church. You can no doubt remember how after you were first saved it became very natural and exciting to love other Christians and to want to be around them. However, such an attitude is extremely difficult to maintain. This love..., which is a gift from God’s Spirit, must be nurtured or it will not growit may actually shrivel. That’s why the apostle Peter urges us, Since you have in obedience to the truth purified your souls for a sincere love of the brethren, fervently love one another from the heart, for you have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and abiding word of God (1 Peter 1:22-23). Paul teaches us the same concept of nurturing and practicing love for one another when he writes: Now as to the love of the brethren, you have no need for any one to write to you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another; for indeed you do practice it toward all the brethren who are in all Macedonia. But we urge you, brethren, to excel still more (1 Thess. 4:9-10). Paul also gives us the basic definition of brotherly love: Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor (Rom. 12:10). Simply stated, brotherly love is caring for fellow Christians more than we care for ourselves. And such love presupposes that we will have an attitude of humility (Phil. 2:3-4). So today’s verse from Hebrews merely supports what Paul and Peter said elsewhere. The writer’s admonition that we should let brotherly love continue tells us that this kind of love already exists. Our challenge today and each day is not to discover love for one another, but to allow it to continue and to increase.
