23.01.2022 Market parking can be at a premium close to the market, but there is plenty of nearby parking within easy and pleasant walking distance. Parking along roads or on the grass is prohibited by La Trobe University. So avoid a ticket and enjoy the great atmosphere of the market area, with trees, lakes and open grassy areas.

05.01.2022 Nice to have a dry market after the last few Sundays. Lots of happy shoppers about enjoying the atmosphere and our great variety. Malaysian sweets, face painting, bric-a-brac, and fashion of all sorts. Come and enjoy some outside time.

Lots of visitors on the move, buying their weeks fresh foods, grabbing a gift maybe for Christmas and heading out onto the grassed area or back home. Sanitiser available on all stalls, so ask if any have run out - and face masks as required. BUT PARKING IS AT A PREMIUM ON BUSY DAYS SO USE THE OTHER NEARBY PARKING AREAS - and avoid a fine for parking on the grassed areas. Enjoy a short walk around the lake.

01.01.2022 As we are usually a busy market, the latest (22nd November) Covid restrictions change little for what will be required at our market. "Market stalls can open. Limits apply to the number of customers who can be in a market at one time. You should keep at least 1.5 metres distance between yourself and others. If the market is indoors, you must wear a face mask. If the market is outdoors and you are unable to distance yourself from others. A face mask is required, unless you have a lawful reason not to."
