24.01.2022 Our Semillon was picked and processed yesterday. Only the red grapes to go now.

24.01.2022 Summer long weekends are the perfect time to enjoy a glass of our chilled Silver medal winning Semillon 2015. The 2015 Semillon was handpicked early to give a refreshing wine with complex aromas of bright lemon/lime, quince and straw. The palate is smooth with the flavour predominantly citrus. There is good acid balance and a clean finish Cheers to warm days and delicious wine.

15.01.2022 We are back from some time away and the Cellar Door will be open again this weekend (from the 1st of January). Come and try our lovely new wines. The 2019 Merlot and Shiraz (bronze medal for the latter at the 2020 Great Australian Shiraz Challenge). The 2020 Shiraz Brittlegum Rosé and the 2019 Sauvignon Blanc (Bronze Medal 2019 Canberra and Region Wine Show). We will post some more details about these next month.

08.01.2022 We had a very hot 2020 growing season and that was followed by smoke haze during January. To minimise smoke taint we picked our Shiraz early and ensured minimum contact of Shiraz skins with the fermenting juice. The resultant Rose wine is light, elegant and dry. It has aromas of strawberry and roses and pairs well with Indian dishes.

05.01.2022 The Shiraz is picked too. The 2021 vintage should be good. Until then we are still enjoying the older vintages.

As part of our search for the perfect place to make wine, we had a few key elements in mind. We wanted cool climate and limestone soil. ... Kingsdale was the answer. Goulburn is not an established wine area, but it is suited to growing cool climate grapes and it had the soil we were looking for! 04.01.2022 Popped out to pick up some of Kingsdale's great wines and having a tasting ... again loved the new sav Blanc, always love the Emma Shiraz, the Shiraz Rose great for summer and the wonderful Orange Liqueur (which we love for Happy Hour). Add a coffee with almond biscuit perfect.
