25.01.2022 How many 17 year olds know what "3 on the tree" means? We get a great range of vehicles in our workshop.

25.01.2022 The signs of a poorly serviced vehicle. This dodges air filter was all choked up and struggling to breathe. A full service and a bit of love should bring it back.

24.01.2022 Often over looked is the cabin filter. Important for your health as ac/heater air is filtered prior to air entering the cabin.

24.01.2022 Due to popular demand, we now have a technician on duty Saturdays 8:30 am till 1:00 pm. Taking bookings for services or feel free to drop in for a rego.

24.01.2022 Fancy a milkshake? Can any guess what this sludge is?

24.01.2022 RECALL RIP OFF. We have had several cases recently where customers returned their cars to a dealer for an airbag recall. During the day they received a call explaining that a complimentary safety inspection had been carried out and found that the vehicle was unsafe and required immediate repairs, in some cases up to thousands of dollars worth of work. The vehicles that we inspected were found to be totally safe and in fact no repair work was even required. Our advise would be to politely decline any extra work over and above the recall repairs and seek a second opinion before parting with your hard earned money.

23.01.2022 No doubt, we get some amazing vehicles into our workshop. Check out this 1990 Honda NSX owned by a local enthusiast.

23.01.2022 We clean and flow test injectors in house.

22.01.2022 A bit hard to capture in the photo but look at the bottom level of the tyre. The steel belt has seperated causing the rubber to expand, alot of vibration in the car and a extremely high risk of blowing out. Be careful when buying cheap tyres.

22.01.2022 We are still open, trading as normal and following strict government recommendations. For longevity of your vehicles we use and recommend quality Hi-Tec oils. Hi-Tec Oils Pty Ltd

22.01.2022 We are open as per usual. Make sure you get your car/bike down here!

22.01.2022 First day with all staff back for 2018. The shop is busy with all kinds of work from car servicing to motorcycle engine rebuilds. Such a wide variety of work always keeps the day interesting.

19.01.2022 A great year & a big congrats to our riders Jake Farnsworth, Neil & Paris Hardwick. Jake stepped up to the seniors this year & won the central coast 250cc championship, 2nd in the 450cc & also took out best open rider & most improved senior rider. Neil Hardwick also had an exceptional year winning the over 35's championship, 3rd in the 450cc & was crowned senior club champion. Paris Hardwick came on strong at seasons end with some fantastic rides to secure 3rd in the 85cc division. As always it is a pleasure & a privilege to be involved in the preparation of the machinary & to work along side my wonderful son & dear friends.

19.01.2022 The way I feel after many hours on the die grinder porting a cylinder today.

19.01.2022 Some more filters out of a dealer service vehicle, make sure you use a repair you can trust and you are getting what you pay for.

19.01.2022 When replacing a CV boot, we disassemble, clean, inspect and re-pack the joint with new grease. Below is a before and after shot of a driveshaft removed from a Subaru Forester.

19.01.2022 We rebuilt this cylinder head with some sensible modifications concentrating mainly on flow through the valve seats for an overall increase in performance right through the rev range and smoother more progressive power delivery.

18.01.2022 Can anyone guess what this driver has been up to?

18.01.2022 If you want to turn your bike into a fire breathing machine with suspension to match, give us a call.

18.01.2022 There's always something interesting happening in the workshop. Here's a dash removed from a Holden Astra, and the offending culprit, a leaking heater core.

16.01.2022 When replacing rear brakes on most modern vehicles, electric handbrakes need to be deactivated with a scan tool.

16.01.2022 After years of neglect, this landcruiser is being treated to a new cylinder head.

16.01.2022 Jake Farnsworth 2018 race year recap. Check out this great video. Well worth way bing to the end.

15.01.2022 Here at Kingsdene Automotive we only use high quality parts, like ryco syntec oil filter range. Made to exceed oem standards for those who care about their engines.

15.01.2022 Just fitted some ported heads to a VU commodore. The only way to finish the job is with some high quality performance Brisk spark plugs. Brisk Australia

15.01.2022 Preped and ready for Bathurst Long Track next weekend. How good does this CRF450 look. Good luck to our team rider Jake Farnsworth.

15.01.2022 There has been some speculation about 2017/18 CRF450 auto decompression failures that at best lead to hard starting & at worst cracking of the crankcase. I hav...e come across some in our shop & identified the problem. The decomp shaft binds in the camshaft causing the plunger to remain in the off position. The simple fix is to linnish the decomp shaft journal till it moves freely in the camshaft. Problem solved, hope this helps bust the myth. See more

14.01.2022 This V8 Mercedes is being treated to 16 Brisk evo spark plugs. You can be sure it will be firing on all cylinders.

14.01.2022 Our latest dirt track project. Watch team rider Crazy Jake Farnsworth tear up the track at the victorian titles this weekend.

14.01.2022 Intank fuel filters are often neglected due to there inconvenient location in comparison to the older style in-line fuel filter and long service intervals. This fuel filter and strainer had traveled 120000km without change. No wonder the owner was complaining about sluggish performance. We replaced and clean as necessary and the vehicle was back to it's old happy self.

14.01.2022 Here is a good example of a poorly maintained diesel vehicle that we recently had in our workshop. Due to excessive carbon produced and retained in the inlet and exhaust systems in late model diesel vehicles it is critical that extra measures are taken at regular service intervals to clean and maintain the proper operation of these systems as to prevent costly breakdowns and repair bills. We have all the correct equipment to service these systems in house. Pictures one and two show the carbon build up in the throttle body and on the maf sensor. Picture three is how the sensor should look. The happy customer was pleasantly surprised by the performance and fuel economy gains which will easily out way the cost endured.

13.01.2022 Cutting some laps around Eastern Creek about 5 years ago on a YZ450F, that's right a motorcross bike with fairings. Most people were quite surprised how quick it was, it was all about corner speed and momentum. So much fun.

13.01.2022 Phones are down due to weather. Contact 0466 118 846 to book appointments.

13.01.2022 A great ride by Jake Farnsworth taking 3rd place on his new KTM250SXF at the CCJMCC 45th birthday celebration of motorsport.

13.01.2022 This is something we see in our workshop on a regular basis. Vehicles that have been poorly maintained by dealers. Not saying they are all bad, but don't be fooled by glossy showrooms, sales pitches and capped price servicing.

11.01.2022 We see a lot of oil leaks from BMW's in our workshop. The valve cover gasket is a major culprit. Also a little less known is the vacuum pump on the back of the cylinder head. Many people overlook this and continue struggling with oil leaks. We recommend rectifying both at the same time.

11.01.2022 The workshops is packed full of cars and bikes, from servicing to performance engine rebuilds. With Christmas just around the corner this is your last chance to book in for that pre Christmas service.

10.01.2022 A classic beauty here at Kingsdene Automotive!

10.01.2022 Customer complaint was oil light coming on. This is why it’s important not to go over regular service intervals.

10.01.2022 First start after engine change, alway's a good feeling when they fire up.

10.01.2022 The dealer strikes yet again. This is certainly one of the worst we have seen. Side affects of such neglect are reduced fuel economy and the potential of accelerated engine wear due to debris being sucked through.

10.01.2022 Congratulations to Ian Collyer for his amazing 3rd place in the over 40s class at Nepean. "This One`s for the Boys at Worth Race Developments .. Thankyou for yo...ur knowledge and workmanship ... we now we have a Flat Tracker that Handles , Steers & Doesn`t Beat you up .. The Bike inspires confidence ( Over 40`s Nepean 4/3/18)" See more

09.01.2022 Some people come prepared. You can never have enough spare parts

08.01.2022 My car doesn't sound right, that's a piece of catalytic convertor blown back and blocking the right tailpipe. The fix, check engine performance as often the underlying cause is a misfire letting raw fuel into the exhaust, replace the catalytic convertor and empty the rear muffler of debri.

08.01.2022 Race engine prepared in house at Kingsdene Automotive, still has stock camshaft & running on pump fuel. So we still have room for more improvement, most of the gains are in our years of experience & knowledge of correct cylinder head design. Keep an eye out for more to come.

08.01.2022 This was just passing by our workshop... think they missed our stop

08.01.2022 This is some of the carbon we scraped out of the throttle body of an Isuzu Dmax Diesel along with replacing the EGR valve and performing an on car carbon clean. Poor quality or lack of servicing is the number one killer of the modern motor vehicle. In the long run it's much cheaper if you properly maintain your vehicle.

07.01.2022 We love working on the classics as well!

06.01.2022 If your after a top class oil, look no further Hi-Tec has some of the best fluids to suit many different applications.

06.01.2022 Fresh out of the shop, we have just completed work on this awesome KTM250SXF. Team rider Jake Farnsworth will be testing it out at Bathurst Long Track Masters this weekend.

05.01.2022 Here is a pic of a blocked EGR cooler taken from a BMW x3 diesel with only 50000km. Highlighting the importance of regular maintenance and cleaning to reduce the effect of sort build up in all diesel vehicles.

05.01.2022 We have brought this old DT250 back to life, what a beauty.

05.01.2022 Hide & Seek Not all manufactures put their filters in plain sight. The fuel filter on this S type Jaguar is tucked away behind the near side front inner wheel arch. For this reason It had clearly been over looked on previous services as the fuel that came out was like muddy water.

04.01.2022 Dont be fooled by the marketing. German technology BUT made in China. Not saying they are a bad tyre but most customers we come across think they have made in germany tyres just because they are brand named. Quite often this is not the case.

04.01.2022 When lowering aer forks as seen on late model KTM/Husqvarna dirt bikes, the conventional method of inserting a spacer on the rod is not possible as it changes the position of the air piston and prevents air bypass from the positive to negative chamber. Here we have used an alternate method that requires shortening, threading and machining the rod to the desired length.

04.01.2022 Another dealer special.

04.01.2022 Here a Kingsdene Automotive we like to think we are a higher class of mechanics. As you can see we use Calvin Klein rags.

04.01.2022 At our workshop in the interest of health and safety we always wear gloves and wash our hands regularly. In these troubled times we are taking extra steps to ensure our staff and customers health and safety. We wear gloves not only while working on your vehicle but also while test driving. We wash our hands, sanitize and wipe down all points of touch on a regular basis to keep our workshop and our customers vehicles clean.

03.01.2022 Happy new year to all our customers. We will be re-open as normal from Wednesday 3rd of January 2018. All the best and hope to see you all soon.

03.01.2022 We love working on the old cars. Rebuilding carbs, setting dwell angle and ignition timing. All old school.

02.01.2022 A warm welcome to our latest team member, Jake Farnsworth. Jake (my son) already has a wealth of knowledge, servicing and rebuilding dirt bikes since nappy age. Most of you probably won't recognize him but will certainly remember the little kid in the workshop every school holidays. He brings a fresh modern approach to the work place and will continue the Farnsworth legacy in the motor industry.

01.01.2022 Wishing all our loyal customers a very merry Christmas and thank you for all your support in making 2017 a very successful year. The workshop will be open Wednesday 27th, Thursday 28th and Friday 29th for your convenience and any last minute servicing.

01.01.2022 Performance exhaust fitted to this nice Nissan 370z.

01.01.2022 Its perfect, never ever made a noise the customer said. As I inspect his water pump, shaft broken in half, fan, pulley etc disintegrated into the radiator.
