The Australian Health Protection Principal Committee (AHPPC), the key decision-making committee for health emergencies comprised of all state and territory Chief Health Officers and chaired by the Chief Medical Officer, has advised that Level 3 RESTRICTIONS are applied. Accordingly, we are following the Australian Dental Association’s (ADA) treatment guidelines for this level. This means that all routine ...dental treatment should be postponed until we receive updated advice. Thus our practice is now limited to URGENT or EMERGENCY dental treatment. We are in the process of contacting all our patients that have upcoming routine dental appointments to reschedule. We have taken these steps to protect our patients, our staff, and the wider community and we hope you know that our commitment to your health and safety is utmost in our thoughts.
