25.01.2022 Deepest sympathy to our friends from Official Wembley Downs Soccer Club and the Harding family on the tragic loss of WDSC President Natalie Harding. A lovely lady who always went out her way to welcome our club on away days at Butlers Reserve in the Amateur Premier League, Natalie will be sadly missed by the entire local football community.

23.01.2022 Our Christmas drive for The Salvation Army WA is happening at Chichester Park again next Sunday. Please come down and drop off any packaged food or unopened toys that you can spare, which we will be donating to the Salvos to help make Christmas a bit better for people struggling this year.

23.01.2022 Food Sponsors Wanted! With 2021 pre-season now getting underway, we are looking for additional food sponsors to join the club in 2021 and keep our lads fed after training!... We have 2 options available for any food related businesses who come on board as a Silver Sponsor in 2021: 1) Contra - company provides $900 worth of food to the club throughout the season in exchange for a Silver Sponsorship; or 2) Financial - company pays standard $900 Silver Sponsorship fee and club agrees to spend equivalent back through the company throughout the season. We have similar arrangements in place with some great local companies including Ming's Bakery, Woodys Pizza and The Joondalup Butcher, and our growing club has a growing hunger for more so please get in touch through our FB page to discuss further.

03.01.2022 Thanks to the team at footballwa.net for the write up on the State League aspect of last Saturday’s Presentation Night. SKIPPER WINS NEW BOYS’ BEST AND FAIREST In their first season in the State League, Kingsley Westside held their own finishing eighth, and skipper Jayden Drummond was a standout as he was rewarded by winning the State League Player of the Season. ... He capped off his season by taking out the club’s Best and Fairest award at the club’s presentation night at Optus Stadium. The former ECU Joondalup winger said winning the league player of the season was a surprise and a huge honour. The State League player of the year was a bit of a shock. For a team to come up from the Sunday Leagues and have a player receive this recognition is something I’ll cherish, he said. But you can’t win anything like that without good team mates and coaching staff around you, so thanks to the Kingsley Westside boys. I think there was only a few points between the top eight at the end of the season, so to win it in such a tight league makes it even better. I’d love to see how tight it was though as there are some very good players in this league. The 28-year-old was the big winner at the club awards night, not only winning the B&F but also won the players’ player of the year, and he said it was a season like never before. We had an up and down year, started off brilliantly but we just couldn’t put games away that we were in control of, which is something we will learn from and take into next year. We know this is where we belong,on the Saturday stage, so it’s just about pushing forward now, Drummond explained. It’s always an honour to win a club award, especially in our first year as a state league club and the difficulties 2020 threw at us. Head coach Steven Dimitrovich said Drummond stood up during their first season in the competition and he was delighted for him to recognised by the club and league. It was our first season in the competition, and we had an up and down year. So for our captain to win the league’s Player of the Season shows the quality Jayden has, he explained. He stood up and showed great leadership for us, both when we were playing well, but most importantly when we weren’t, and he really led from the front. In other awards on the night Ryan Williams won the first team coaches award, while in the State League reserves Jason Murray won the best and fairest, Ollie Valentine the players player of the year, and Benjamin Partridge won the coaches award. In the State League Under 18s Lucas Farley won the best and fairest, Ilya Nebylytsya the players player of the year and Jack Talevski the coaches award.
