When breast cancer is detected early, women have a much greater chance of being treated successfully and for most women the cancer will not come back after treatment."

Further investigations are und...erway to confirm the infection and investigate potential sources. (Before leaving for Melbourne the woman travelled from Townsville to Cairns and Brisbane.) Locations visited in Brisbane and Cairns are currently deemed very low risk. Updates will be provided as further information emerges.
