23.01.2022 Covid 19 The pub will be operating as we have been for the last few weeks with takeaway meals only until a few inconsistencies have been ironed out with liquor licensing. At present unless you are people living in the one household to come and dine you have to sit 1.5m apart. Which means that anyone in your group that does not live in your household must sit a distance away from you. ... We can still only have 10 people in the pub at one time. It is only the outback that can have 20 and they must be all locals from that area. When this can be clarified I will review the situation. Our great meals can still be enjoyed as takeaway. The bar is only open for people having a sit down meal not to sit at the bar and have a drink which is a great pity. Bottleshops are both open every day Thanks for your understanding We look forward to everything returning to ‘NORMAL’ in the next couple of months Lynne

08.01.2022 YES restrictions are lifting. We are now permitted to have 20 people eating and drinking in the entire hotel. THEREFORE bookings are essential if you would like to partake in a meal either for lunch or dinner ONLY ONE PROBLEM At this stage we can only get Great Northern Original Kegs so beer on tap won’t be available until until Friday and hopefully next week for Gold and Great Northern Crisp. 07.01.2022 I would like to thank everyone who came for dinner at the pub last night and all those who phoned in for takeaway dinners. My sincere apologies for the delay in getting the meals to you from mid service onward and I hope it didn’t cause too much inconvenience . We had an extremely busy evening with many bookings and many phone in orders combined with staff shortage in the kitchen. ... Once again my apologies and THANKS I really appreciate your patronage I am still endeavouring to get second chef/ cook!! They seem to be in short supply!! Lynne
