24.01.2022 It’s been a year long work in progress and not quite finished, but I wanted to share with you the progress of our 3D Art Wall on the side of the BLA Classroom. It’s looking fantastic and so much of the students hard work and passion has gone into their painting. An overwhelming thanks to Brenton Poole and John Scott for making my crazy ideas happen, as well as making them even better!

24.01.2022 A special Remembrance Day ceremony was held in Barmera this afternoon, acknowledging the sacrifice of horses in the Great War. Five local primary schools pa...rticipate in the ceremony on November 11 every year, with Kingston-On-Murray Primary School hosting this year’s event. As part of the ceremony, KOM Primary School principal Natalie Coote said students recited the Ode to War Horses, written by John Enright. He wrote it in around 2000, with the intention of getting school children involved in commemorating the role of horses in the Great War, she said. Anne Irwin
