18.01.2022 Congratulations Rotarian Else Phillips on your nomination and becoming a finalist in the Volunteering Award.

18.01.2022 HOT POTATO Last week a couple of members from the Kingston Rotary club bagged up about 500kg of spuds generously donated to the club by @ScottCoad. The bags were then distributed to Kingborough Helping Hands and Blackman’s Bay Salvos to give to those in need.

17.01.2022 IN FOR A PENNY, IN FOR A POUND. The Rotary Club of Kingston is alway looking for innovative ways to make every donation dollar count. If there is an opportunity for Rotary to raise much needed funds to help our community, then our members will find a way. Here is one such opportunity. If you can think of another idea, we would like to hear your suggestions. Who knows, you may be a potential Rotarian looking for a club to call home. ... Thank you to the @KingboroughChronicle for running the story. https://kingboroughchronicle.com.au/read-our-newspapers

09.01.2022 Welcome to Rotary Clarence Sunrise, the Satelite of the Rotary Club of Lindisfarne. Satelite Clubs are a great way to bring new members into Rotary and to Charter new clubs.

07.01.2022 A few Kingston Rotarians headed down to Sandfly Memorial Oval this morning to fix up the damage cause by someone who decided to use it as a race track. 40mins work and we had all the turf folded back in and flattened out using a small concrete hand roller. A job well done, by Rodney, Alan, Heather and Marcel. We are sure the @LongleyBunyipsCricketClub will be happy with the result and the turf will recover much quicker.

07.01.2022 Congratulations Edna Pennicott OAM a well deserved recognition for your commitment to community and serving others. Kingston Rotary is honoured to support you and your cause, and Kingborough is a better place because of your leadership and empathy. Well done Kingborough Helping Hands

06.01.2022 Rotary Australia is 100 years in 2021, and The Rotary Club of Kingston will be looking for an opportunity to celebrate this significant milestone, which involves, ensuring the 100 year baton is passed around all 47 Rotary Club in Tasmania.

05.01.2022 We all remember the great contributions Rob Pennicott has made to our community and Kingston Rotary club with the tens of thousands of dollars he has donated with the Iron Pot cruises. Also his huge contribution and commitment to Rotary in eradicating polio back six or seven years ago with his around Australia Yellow Boat Road Polio fundraiser. Now it is time to give back and help this iconic Tasmanian business continue providing memorable experience to visitor and locals. Hi...s $99 tickets would be great presents for people to give way. Also ask people Rob Pennicott is a member of the Rotary Club of Kingston. https://www.pennicottjourneys.com.au/winter
