13.01.2022 HAPPENING NOW: A major search operation is underway in waters south of Port Lincoln for two men on board a boat which left Coffin Bay for Goolwa on Thursday. Th...e pair has not made contact with friends since Friday night. SA Police: "Police are searching waters south of Port Lincoln for two men on board a boat which left Coffin Bay on Thursday night. The boat named ‘Margrel’ with identification number RF83S left Coffin Bay about 3pm on Thursday 3 September bound for Goolwa, with a stopover planned at Victor Harbor. 07.01.2022 TOP PRIORITY FOR IMMEDIATE BROADCAST Severe Thunderstorm Warning for DAMAGING WINDS For people in Eastern Eyre Peninsula, Flinders, Mid North, Riverland, Murray...lands, Upper South East and parts of Mount Lofty Ranges, Yorke Peninsula, Lower South East, North West Pastoral and North East Pastoral districts. Issued at 11:06 am Sunday, 22 November 2020. Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging wind gusts in excess of 90 km/h in the warning area today, mostly during the afternoon and early evening. Locations which may be affected include Whyalla, Renmark, Port Augusta, Port Pirie, Clare, Murray Bridge, Naracoorte, Bordertown, Hawker, Jamestown, Roxby Downs and Woomera. Rain may be heavy at times, but due to the fast moving thunderstorms it is not expected to persist long enough to lead to flash flooding. While thunderstorms are also occurring outside of this warning area, they are not expected to be severe. The State Emergency Service advises that people should: * Secure or put away loose items around your property. * Move cars under cover or away from trees. * Keep clear of fallen power lines. * Stay indoors, away from windows, while storms are nearby. The next warning is due to be issued by 2:10 pm. If severe thunderstorms develop in the Adelaide Region, a more detailed Severe Thunderstorm Warning will be issued to people in this area. Warnings are also available through TV and Radio broadcasts, the Bureau's website at www.bom.gov.au or call 1300 659 210. The Bureau and State Emergency Service would appreciate warnings being broadcast regularly.

02.01.2022 Have a look at these photos from north of the state! With heavy rainfall across the north of the state, there’s plenty of water running through creeks and flood...water across roads. If you’re in the area where there’s floodwater or fast flowing water, remember not to drive, walk, play or ride through it as you don’t have know what’s occurred below the surface. If you need SES assistance, give us a call on 132 500. For life-threatening emergencies, call 000 immediately. 02.01.2022 A cut-off low pressure system will bring widespread rainfall and thunderstorms to southern and central Australia during the second half of this week. Showers w...ill develop across southern WA on Wednesday, intensifying and stretching into southwest NT, and southern and western SA on Thursday, including Adelaide. Activity will peak on Friday through much of SA, southeast NT and southwest Qld, moving into NSW and possibly northern Victoria during the weekend. Widespread 3-day totals of 10-50mm are expected with this event, higher with thunderstorms, which may be severe with damaging winds and heavy localised falls. Warmer-than-average conditions are forecast ahead of the cut-off low, and possible raised dust. Know your weather. Know your risk.
