17.01.2022 KHCC Grand Final Weekend! Go Burras!

10.01.2022 With the 2020/21 home and away season coming to an end, we were left with some sad news in Luke Schwarze announcing this would be his last season playing as a Burra. Luke debut for the club in 2002, and finishes his career with 4526 club runs, 4th all time leading run scorer for the club, including 1957 1st XI and 1692 2nd XI runs with 6 centuries and 19 half-centuries. On behalf of everyone in the KHCC family, we want to congratulate Luke on the incredible achievements and... success he has found on the field, but more importantly thank him for being such an amazing role model that so many junior and senior players alike have looked up to at KHCC. Many of Luke's current team mates started their senior careers alongside him, and have built their cricketing careers and beliefs around the KHCC values that Luke so proudly displayed whenever he donned his trusty baggy black. We hope you enjoy the well earned, free weekends with your family Luke. We look forward to having you on the sideline at Southern Rd, cheering and supporting the club on. Well played Lukey!
