A narrow shoot of fairway is there to tempt and ultimately reward the brave tee shot, leaving a green light approach to the green. ... The clubhouse awaits! @garylisbongolf

17.01.2022 Hole 11 @kingston_heath Accuracy is paramount throughout this tough par 4. From the tee, the fairway meanders to the right, seemingly into a sea of bunkers, ti-tree and sandy wasteland, before re-emerging as the green comes in to sight. ... If you successfully navigate the above, you aren’t done just yet! A relatively small green, guarded by bunkers to the right awaits. A miss to the left or long will be swallowed by steep run-offs. 13.01.2022 Incredibly, the following pictures of the 10th hole @kingston_heath have not been filtered or doctored in any way. The rising sun has singled the hole out, illuminating it beautifully. These images highlight just one aspect of the brilliance of its design. Originally planned to run in the opposite direction (East to West) course designer Dan Soutar realised the majority of golfers would play this short par 3 directly into the afternoon sun. It was therefore decided to switch... to a West to East design, avoiding such an issue. Amazing captures by @will_watt of @caddiemag
