25.01.2022 White Ribbon Day was held on Friday, 20th November and this event aims to raise awareness and support for the prevention of domestic and family violence. This year's theme is 'Community by Community, Workplace by Workplace'. At lunch time staff and students were able to show their support by getting a white ribbon painted on their hand and making wristbands with messages of hope. If you or someone you know is experiencing DFV, help is available 24 hours, 7 days a week by phoning 1800RESPECT

23.01.2022 The Duke of Edinburgh Program (DOE) is an internationally recognised program offered to school students all over the world. The program encourages students to improve their physical wellbeing, volunteer in their community and increase their skillset in learning through extracurricular activities. The DOE program takes students on a self-discovery journey through adventurous camps and completing extra hours outside of school time towards the program otherwise known as the DOE... Award. Kingston State College participated in two Camps throughout the year at the Numinbah Valley Outdoor Environmental Centre. Students participated in two day hike through the Springbrook Gold Coast Hinterland area where they pitched tents and sat near a camp hire. Kingston has been able to run the Duke of Edinburgh Camps/ Award for the last 4 years due to the support of the P&C and HPE Staff. We would like to congratulate our year 11’s for completing the two camps and wish them good luck in completing their awards. See more

19.01.2022 Next term our Administration Building will be undergoing a major refurbishment which is scheduled for completion at the end of Term 3. The staff will relocate to the library and parents, visitors, students and contractors will report to the Senior Schooling entrance during these works. There will be signage to follow for directions. The bottom staff carpark will be closed for the builders so drop off and pick up will be at the top of the school outside the school gates. We're sorry for any inconvenience this may cause during this time
